  • Documented the making of my 2nd bamboo (split cane) fly rod January-February 2017. The aim was to fly fish with it in the Vancoucer island this autumn. Hope You like the story and it as much as I love her.
    And all You people, RESIST RUclips censorship. Even this video got censored by RUclips, witch I find really worrying. Making bamboo rods and fly fishing is "offensive" to RUclips...

    very relaxing video. Also shows that Bamboo is not that delicate of a material to fight and land those salmon.

      Do you mean the coat on the bamboo rod? I use HEMPEL Dura-satin Varnish. It is a single component, urethane modified alkyd coat (for wooden boats) www.hempelyacht.com/en-GB/products/hempels-dura-satin-varnish-02040
