- Documented the making of my 2nd bamboo (split cane) fly rod January-February 2017. The aim was to fly fish with it in the Vancoucer island this autumn. Hope You like the story and it as much as I love her.
And all You people, RESIST RUclips censorship. Even this video got censored by RUclips, witch I find really worrying. Making bamboo rods and fly fishing is "offensive" to RUclips...
grandchildren in Vietnam, it's great with his tools
How to get tools like yours

Do you mean the coat on the bamboo rod? I use HEMPEL Dura-satin Varnish. It is a single component, urethane modified alkyd coat (for wooden boats) www.hempelyacht.com/en-GB/products/hempels-dura-satin-varnish-02040
