This song is about quarantine...he says "panic on the brain" and "will you be my little quarantine". This song was released as a way to cheer up fans, it's much more cheerful and pop-y than their normal music.
Well, its a little more than that, it is also a love song in a way and how he wants his s/o to just tell him everything will be okay and he hasn't felt like this since he asked her to marry him.
@@tm1st yes! Definitely not a song about the quarantine. That is a verbal tool that Tyler is using as a symbol that we all can relate to, considering the state of the world right now. Why are we in quarantine? Because there's danger out there and our home is our safety.
In the same way, he's talking about a person being his safety from the danger that is his insecurities and anxiety. Something either we can relate to directly or relate to in the metaphor of the "quarantine." I wonder, however, if he's not taking about his s/o, as I also first suspected, but then the video cuts to Tyler filming his new daughter. Perhaps he's saying that she's his place of safety; something to live for and take care of himself because of that responsibility.
That one clip kind of turns the whole thing around in my opinion. But I don't know.
its about jenna!!!!!!!
No shit
Wait, dOeS hE sAy ThAt???
"These guys are unbelievably creative"
Damn right they are.
Also love how he notices small details in the music even for a producer.
You should react to more Twenty One Pilots stuff!
Yesssssir! Especially Trench, the production is great.
He's actually already a fan, not much he can react to at this point
definitely!!
Pls
He said "I feel like it's about quarantine" after listening to the chorus which clearly said quarantine lmao just shows that he really is a music producer, cause he wasnt paying attention to the lyrics
@DaFuzzBearYT yeah he's a producer, of course he's gonna listen to the arrangement first its second nature to him
there was too much stuff in the video that he probably didn't have time to focus on the lyrics

We need more Tøp reactions, guy!
React to the entire “Blurryface” or “Trench” album by Twenty one Pilots pleaseee
Not Blurryface, Trench is way better!
9yearoldblurryface you’ve got blurryfave in your name 😂
Just Trench.
@@windor4945 oh lol i didn't even realize. My opinion stands, I just wanted something top related in my username and went with Blurryface
and vesel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This the first song that Tyler has done on the guitar..he just learned.
He’s actually always known a little bit of guitar. Way back to No Phun Intended in 2007, he played some on that, and there’s a video of him playing, and a friend using a cello bow on one, and Tyler’s yelling “sour notes”. This is just his first time incorporating it in a TØP song.
@@IdleAcheiver Someone else played guitar on NPI, not Tyler
"I feel it's about the quarantine" didn't realize he just said it😂😂😂👌🏾
i notice that he does that sometimes, he listens to the background and vocals more..
not so much to the lyrics of the songs, it's really funny to see how he's into the sounds and not much of the lyrics 🙊
Alejandra Bordón 69th like
The fact that you’re in law school and still making all these reactions is mind blowing
I finally bought blurryface on vinyl which was cheaper than the cd. Whilst listening to it, I noticed I knew nearly all the songs. Very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. My sister was chilling in my room and she ended up listening to it in entirety with me.
I really like the indie + rap sound. Very nice chill music. I really like that they don't need to rhyme all the time and simular to Awsten in waterparks, he can write way more than would typically fit in a verse but he fits it in there anyway.
I'm interested to hear your take on this.
It's crazy how TØP's music is so different they have their own category. 'Schizophrenic Pop'
Yessss waterparks and twentyonepilots are the best! And Blurryface😍
Yess Twenty One Pilots are absolute geniuses!! Like this song and music video made me so happy. Hope you will react to more Twenty One Pilots cause they are incredible!!!
I like the way you can give a different perspective from most reactors being that you’re a producer and have a different ear for music then most people. You should definitely do more twenty one pilots!
i love how you're lowkey jamming out to almost every song you react to.... it's so cute haha 🙊🥰
Also Conan Gray, he just released his debut album and it is great
React to Finneas, he is a really great producer, singer and song writer.
I Was Gonna Say Finneas 😦
Nobody talks in songs anymore
Neon gravestones and bandito disagree
Feemailgamer omg yes!
Feemailgamer omg yes! He has to listen to Trench.
He doesn't talk in both of these songs , there's a difference between talking and rapping . It's a blurred line tbh but they are still different . The part tyler did at end of level of concern is called spoken word poetry , and what he does on neon gravestones or bandito is clearly rapping to the beat according to my knowledge .
@@vipinsl Nope, bandito is definitely spoken word, as it flows more freely and doesn't necessarily fit the strict rules of how the words have to fit within the beats and it doesn't really have a musical rhythm to it as much as rap. Rap is rhythm and poetry, so technically is a form of spoken poetry. neon gravestones is rap tho.
@@lostecho4394 bandito is clearly rapped . It does fit into a rythm . Also , it has rhymes . I know rap is rap and poetry . But rap is pretty much prevalent in songs . But the producer who's reacting is referring to spoken word and not rap .
you seem like such a genuinely good, fun person and I enjoy hearing you talk about music so much. I never thought I would be able to watch 1,5 hour video like your album reactions but what you say about them is so interesting :)
More Twenty One Pilots, please.
Nobody:
Nobody at all:
Not even Blurryface himself:
Josh and Debby: 😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬😬
Hold up! 9 smilies = 9 Bishops?
You look like Jordan, joshs brother I actually thought you were him for a second 😂😂
Jaja same
Same lmao
Isabella Martinez omg same
Jordan who?
Good to see someone review a song who really knows music and knows what they’re talking about.
I’m here all day, every day if you keep bragging on TØP. Tyler is number one in my book.
YES YES YES!! I completely agree. All day, every day for TØP!!
"Daft Punk" is the first thing I thought of when I heard the beat.
"Most artists release their summer hits around this time" yes, because they want to make money. Twenty one pilots released this for their fans to feel better, that's why it's different than "the usual stuff around this time"
Paul Meany, from MUTEMATH, co-produced this and Trench.
OMG i didn't know that its awesome ! The mutemath sessions for blurryface were so good, i can see the similarities now !
I feel like this is one of their less deep songs, so I've been focusing on the musicality of it so much, and no one's been talking about it like this, so this is my favorite reaction I've seen of this song. I like how he noticed things no one's been talking about that I've just been thinking about for days, lol.😂
Their "less deep" song is still ten times deeper than the average song out there today...
@@ffjsb very true.☺
(Sorry, I didn't see this til just now, lol)
I wasn't hating on it, btw. Just in case you thought I was. I actually admire it in that aspect because the lyrics here, imo, are more about the relatablity more so than Tyler telling a deep and cryptic story (which don't get me wrong, I love a whole lot). It achieves it's goal very well, and I love this song so much.☺
I believe this is the first time Tyler's used an electric guitar in 21P's music.
yaaay it's back up! 🥳 i'm gonna say it again since the other video got blocked ....
i really love your hairstyle - you're rocking it ngl 😌 just throwing that in there 'cause you said you're in desperate need of a haircut 🥰
Edit: I can't wait for youngblood 😍😍 and hopefully more Harry content
Thank you for articulating all the reasons I'm in love with this song.
You should react to Half alive!
You should react to Melodrama by Lorde. It’s amazing. Maybe even Pure Heroine which is probably one of the most influential albums of this decade. Lordes vocals and production have influenced: Halsey, Billie Eillish, Banks, Lana del Ray, Selena Gomez , Melanie Martinez etc.
Going to recommend a non-mainstream indie pop duo, I'd love it if you reacted to Oh Wonder. They have 3 albums out and while their music may be slightly different from what you're used to, it's unique, lyrically strong and the production is absolutely amazing. You might like their first self titled album, Oh Wonder or their most recent one, called No One Else Can Wear Your Crown. Thanks!
omg yes i second this
Congrats on getting the video back up 🙏 I saw it on your story. Sometimes RUclips can really suck.
Tøp: "things are starting to get heavy"
Blake: Good for them!
Lol
Ahh I was hoping you’d do some TØP! If you haven’t already you listened through you should do some of their albums!
Is no one gonna talk about his zebra mug? Like...
I've legit been trying to figure out where to get it!
Zach I have the same mug.
@@merprincesspacifica where did you get it..
@@jaxonellbelurin472 It was thrifted. Shootdang
You know he's a legit law student when he debates RUclips with a legit law #respect
I love how you mix other musicians into what you’re saying so we understand, literally love you 💞💞
You should react to trench!!! The production on that album is beyond amazing
i heard trench for the first time in full last night and it killed me i honestly think it's such a cool album especially with the fact that it is a concept album. i'd love to hear your thoughts on it
Before I don't hear the guitar sound or the piano I just listen Tyler singing but after watching u and explaining that I way more enjoying it than before
Listen to Trench!!!!! They’re most recent album
This was the first video of yours that I have seen. I really like how you break down the production of the track, something most other reacters I've seen don't do/ do it well. Keep it up!
I need this story about Cake By The Ocean
I love your personality, and this song just lifts my spirits every time I hear it. As a fellow producer, your reaction and analysis of this song are exactly what I thought, too. Subscribed ♥
PLEASE react to more by them! Songs from Trench and Blurryface please and stuff live too would be cool
Tyler taught himself electric guitar xx
please react to more twenty one pilots! i’m sure you’d love the production of Paul meany and tyler joseph on Trench!
Dude, u should do more of these guys. Actually you have a great different point of view and it's sick man, love it
I remember finding them in 2012 and seeing them in Houston in a show that wasn’t even sold out... and now they’re selling out our biggest arenas. They don’t have the same sound that I came in and loved, but I’m glad they found success.
"you are experiencing level of concern"
I’m here to say Hi to your zebra mug
I actually liked it, u almost got it. But musically w ur expertise I was glad. I respect ur knowledge. So giving them cred is very good. My fav band. Geniuses.
Will you please react to more of their stuff!!!! I've watched other channels break down the lyrics and stuff, but the other part- the production- hasn't been broken down. And it tells another part of the story.
When you said you were reacting to Youngblood next I thought you meant YUNGBLUD and got really excited :) you should react to him :)
sammeee though
I can’t stop watching your video’s! You’re really engaging, have great taste in music, interesting to listen to and you are very easy on the eye, haha!
Guy reminds me of that Ugly Dolls movie with the whole "I'm a music producer slash lawyer slash model"
Hahah, nice analysis/reaction
I got major Daft punk vibes as well
You gotta check out Trench, the production on that album is amazing. If not the whole album, atleast "Levitate" or "Jumpsuit"
bro if you in for the production you should check out trench
u really said "im gonna react to (basically my entire music taste)" and i love that
Good producer good song
I love the line “tell me we’re alright, tell me we’re okay (I need you)”. Because with the lack of leadership, I really do question and feel uncertain about how we all are doing against this pandemic. And I really want to finally get to the point where we are okay, but it feels so hopeless. And towards the end, when Tyler says the lime he looks hopeless, or at the very least looks upset.
B- i know I mentioned Waterparks in the previous comment and I'm fairly certain I brought this up to you as well but- Watch what happens next by waterparks. They have a talk-ish part in it. 👍
Omg we need more twenty one pilots videos 😭❤️❤️
4:36 “I feel like it’s about the quarantine” lol the song literally says “would u be my little quarantine” lel
You said you miss talking in songs, i highly recommend you listen to La Dispute in that case. Incredible band
My man, what a smile!
React to the entire “Trench”!!!
Totally didn’t realize the intro was reminiscent of DP. I’d say Discovery era
There's this tiny artist called Nate Etan which you might like. They produce their own stuff and if you're into more cinematic music, you might like their track 'Wasteland'
Do more twenty one pilots!! Trench specifically
IM STILL WAITING FOR SCALED AND ICY REACTION 😫
YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO STILL FEEL BY HALF ALIVE IT'S SO GOOODDDDDDDDDD
He is the writer and producer!
this guy must be fun to hang out with
To me, the fact that it's somewhat of a love song is not an accident. The whole song is easy to listen too, and relaxing, and the lyrics follow this trend by being a love song on serface level. As you go deeper, though, it doesn't get to much darker. Honestly it feels like they're saying, "Everything is stressful right now, and we know that, and we know that a lot of our fan base are going to be struggling with panic attacks and depressive episodes. It's ok to ask for help and assurance. We'll be ok, all of us, together, as a team." I think that's why they wrote, "tell me we're alright, tell me we're ok." Part of that is definitely just the romance storyline, but the repetition of that is first off calming, but also distorts the meaning until it seems almost as if they could be asking if we, the community, including them, are ok. It's just a beautiful and simple assurance. A means of sitting beside all of us listening even as we've all been forced apart.
"They just put so much effort into everything they do."
Lol did anyone see the scavenger hunt the other day? I think it was too much effort.
This guy is so focused! How did he not comment on the mv??
I love how he talks about the music behind it instead of the lyrics
Well not only are you Good at the reactions.......you are adorable!!!! Yes yes I did subscribe😀😀😀
You were great! Except that i would love if you feel the lyrics as well, you have such great insight i would love the lyric side of it.
They wrote and recorded it 😂 during quarantine
Check out Avett Brothers for some talking on High Steppin or Tell the Truth from their most recent album. A folk rock band being produced by Rick Rubin
Bruh its hilarious that you actually put that in the description to get adsense from the video. fair play lmao.
Yesssssssss🙌
i really want him to react to scaled and icy
Good ear. Thanks for the video
the live from outside verison is also amazing
Really enjoyed your Trench reaction man - more TOP! (Or maybe some of my songs?!) 😀
React to Trench since i think it is the most well-produced album by them so far
This song isn't actually about covid. Many peopl think so and i thought so at first too but they actually released a message saying about how it's about his wife and stuff i won't go into detail but i recommend to anyone interested looking into it a bit further.
zebra coffe mug, i want it.
You should check out the song morph off there new album if you haven’t heard it
I like your head when it shaking feel so you like the song too...happt😁😅💙
Pleeease do more
"absolutely incredible artists"
Me, a fan that knows nothing about music: "I know, right!?"
7:05 Tyler is a produser and he has a studio in his house
when i heard it first i was crying on livestream
i just kind of went to the floor and cried.
btw.
i had headphones on
so i streamed myself crying
He is cute
The long hairs hot and tøp are a vibe please react to more of their stuff 😊
