It’s interesting how common it is nowadays to find creators with incredibly small audiences making content at the same level of quality as million + subscriber channels. You and TheNightButterfly come to mind, but there’s plenty more. Keep it up!! You’re bound to blow up soon
I'm actually really impressed that while scott is clearly an inspiration to this guy, he's trying very hard to branch out and become his own person and form a unique signature style and the effort is very very clearly showing. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your future videos!
The amount of time and effort you put into these videos really shows. This level of high quality jumps and cuts, jokes and skits back to back is just so hard to achieve and it takes an unbelievable amount of time, hard work and genuine care for your work to be the best it can be. This is beyond impressive, you will go far dude 100%.
Game collections are the best, it's like a physical representation of your best (and worst) gaming memories. Last year I spent waaaay too much on eBay 3ds games, since I'm guessing the prices will get even worse after the eShop closes. And I absolutely NEEDED Poptropica Forgotten Islands. I think. Fantastic video as always!
Good shit! Collecting definitely means different things to different people, but you showed a perfect balance of things to describe a buncha different aspects of it! For me personally, I collect because I missed out on a lot of things as a kid, so the idea of having a lot of cool games (and some mainly for novelty) warms my heart greatly!
I definitely prefer physical collecting. It helps me keep a better idea of what I already own. However, sometimes there is just a deal too good to pass up to buy digitally. I related a lot to how the collection starts as a kid then just blossoms into something else. Great video!
Just found this video through my front page recommendations and it's well edited, well spoken and the general quality and feel of it is amazing. I've subscribed for this reason alone!
This is a great video. As a video game collector myself I could very much relate to some of the things you said (Especially putting away the ds game case when you were younger, no idea why I did that) and the video itself was pretty insightful. After watching some of your other videos on your Channel I could definitely tell your videos are quality and I hope you post more videos consistently with the same amount of quality more. You just earned a subscriber.
Great video man this needs more recognition we basically had the same childhood/teen years so this was on par w my experience w game collecting and thought if I were to sell it all I could make a good lump some of money I agree that our game collection is something you can’t put a price on
Wow, this is a fantastic video. So much personality and style without losing the focus on the subject of the video. Masterfully done dude, you're gonna make it big someday soon
It’s such a fun hobby and the nice thing is the games actually hold their value okay, so you can usually get most if not all your money back if you decide to get out. Great entertainment value. I’m excited to see this channel grow!
You remind me of the old Scott the woz, not the same but similar, which is great because I miss the old Scott videos so to see someone so similar to him in his old videos is great!
He was one of my favorite creators and a huge inspiration, it’s funny I probably remind you of old Scott because I stopped watching his videos about 3 years ago to make sure I had my own feel so I only ever saw his old stuff
"he's the new Scort the WARZZZ!!" guys, can we not compare two completely different creators to each other? They both offer their own perspectives on gaming topics, and are worth watching if you're interested in these things.
Haha thank you but I really don’t mind the comparison. The similarity’s are apparent but i do sometimes think people forget how difficult making these from scratch is. I couldn’t carbon copy the Woz if I wanted to. His vids are a quality i hope to reach some day
I keep on returning to this video to rewatch it, perfectly encapsulates why I love physical media and collecting and it’s an incredibly addictive video to watch
Dude I'm gonna be quite honest. I've never heard of you, never seen any of your videos. This randomly popped up in my recommended and I'm always interested in game collecting and how some others do it. Within the first 2 minutes I was hooked and watched the video all the way to the end, and was very entertained with practically everything and how certain types of collecting were shown. SUBSCRIBED
Great video, very funny and relatable, instant subscribe. I like seeing younger gamers collecting games from my generation despite the ridiculous prices nowadays. I'm still working on filling out my Gamecube collection too, so I understand. Just gotta limit myself to one game a month so that I can still afford the electric bill, cuz ya know, you need that to play video games.
You are the first youtuber in a LONG TIME where i ended up watching one video, and immediately subbed and turned on noti’s. Genuinely fantastic work dude 🫶
I just got the itch that you described but I would like to say I came across your video in my recommended and so far the biggest person you remind me of is Scott the Woz. Not to say you are copying him but rather your content is fun, interesting and cool. I can't wait to see you blow up man. Keep at it, and remember there is 1.8k of us rooting for you!
Your channel is so underrated, really reminds me of Scott the Woz in the best way possible (just noticed a bunch of other people are making that comparison, hope that isn't annoying haha. Your style, although similar, is definitely distinct from Scott's and great in its own right)
This is the first video recommended to me from this channel- this creator gives me Scott the Woz vibes in his humour and editing but also has his own style that is honestly quite enjoyable to watch; off to binge watch an entire new channel im glad the youtube algorithm gods blessed me with today 🫡
Thank you RUclips recommendations! I actually did the same thing in college lol, spent the money I made on getting my old games back. Great video! Just subbed and can’t wait to see what you make next!
I started my game collection last year and I already have an N64 with 2 games a Wii with like 12 a Wii U with I think 7 and a DS with 1 I’ll start focusing on one from now on since it isn’t that practical to get different consoles with varying amounts of games, thanks for inspiring me to continue my journey!
Hi. I loved how you talked about always wanting the case and manual when purchasing retro games. A few days ago, I purchased a Sega Genesis along side two games: Super Monaco GP and Ecco: The Tides of Time. The case and cartridges were in almost perfect condition, but when I realized they didn’t have manuals I was devastated. And that was when I realized that without a manual, Game cases feel so empty.
As someone who just got Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door with the manual and inserts, I agree... even though I'm 15 and haven't even started making my own money yet.
Just like vinyl LPs prices were going through the roof until the counterfeit scene started making copies and crashed the prices so game discs on the ps, gamecube and xbox will be cloned and republished in the future by industrious types, but cartridge games which are far harder to replicate will hold their value in the decades ahead.
Currently trying to get a copy of Chibi Robo at an affordable price. I'll just hold my hands up like goku and pray y'all give me the strength I need to do this. The worst part is no more than 2 years ago a copy of chibi robo didn't go past the 70 D mark. I really want that game.
As much as I love physical media, I hate to admit it but I prefer playing games on an emulator. The reason for that is because sometimes whenever I buy games, they would coast $40-$50 which to this day I don’t understand why games are like that. That, as well as playing gaming consoles is not only expensive as hell, but they’ll take off space to where I want to put them.
Absolutely heat video bro. It honestly inspires me to keep trying at this youtube thing. You deserve way more subs and views than you have/get right now dude. Yeah mic might not be the best and some people will always complain about camera shots not being Interstellar level. But dude absolutely great video. I hope you continue on cus this shit is FUEGO!!!
Some of the things you said were perfect. There’s just something about that physical disc with the actual console that negates the feeling of society collapsing haha
Collecting video games is fun! But collecting games just to have them even if you'll never play or even hate them can be a major problem. Purchase and keep games you love. A collection that tells a person about you and that you're proud of.
Serious Scott The Woz vibes but that isnt a bad thing. You know you've got deep into collecting when you move away from the mainline consoles. When your collecting anything NEO GEO or CD32, you know there is no going back.
My parents especially my father disciplined me about my spending habits including buying games. He ment physical copies..... BUT HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT DIGITALLY DOWNLOADING GAMES. Greatest LOOP HOLE ever!!!
I recently started collecting for the Wii U and I adore the console and use it more than my Switch, PS3, NES or SNES. I hate that the Wii U didn’t get the love it deserves and that’s how I got into game collecting, buying all the best physical games on the system. I just added Xenoblade Chronicles X a couple days ago
I gotta say you did a great job with this video I really love video game collecting (not only because it’s fun) but also there’s a story to them! Sometimes it can be awesome like how I got my copy of metal slug on sega Saturn! And other times it can be weird creepy and disturbing like how I got my copy of the salamander deluxe pack plus on the sega Saturn!
2:45 My personal preference is: CIB (or atleast not loose) if the game came in a plastic case. Loose (put in a custom case, usually casette or VHS) if the game came in a cardboard box Everything organized alphabetically and by system (except for right now, cause I'll be moving soon, so most of my games are packed in boxes). Unfortunately I live in bulgaria, so most of my games are PS2/PSP games from the flea market, I only have 1 NES game, 1 N-Gage game, 1 XBOX game, 5 PS1 games, 5 GBA games, 2 DS games.
A few weeks ago I went to comic con had my ben 10 protector of earth signed by Steve Blum I looked on the internet and stuff as far as I know I own the only autographed copy of that Game i put it in a plastic sleeve to protect it

Thankyou that means a lot
You gotta think outside of the box with the game prices
Low IQ: Savings account (cringe)
High IQ: Stocking up on GameCube games (ez money)
This is the next Scott the Woz right here. Keep it up man I really enjoy your videos.
That is the ultimate compliment right there
I was just about to comment something like "Mom Can We Have Scott the Woz"... "We Have Scott the Woz at Home"
*Scott the Woz at Home*
This guy is Scott the Woz from Ohio
@@DynastoneScott is from Ohio💀
@@Dynastone So... He's Scott the Woz 😂
My video game collection is the only reason i haven't offed myself yet. It must be completed.
No make it a goal to complete all of them. Like the games themselves. 100%.
That carpet at the beginning with all of those games stacked up felt like Scott the Woz if he was on coke. Very fun video!
That about sums up what im goin for lol, thanks!
Stumbled upon this channel in my recommended! Keep up the good work, your content is peak!
The amount of time and effort you put into these videos really shows. That Wii fishing game unlocked a core memory

That collection is a lot more humble than I expected.
The only real reason why video game prices have gone sky high is because of false scarcity and value made by resellers
Truth
Getting massive woz vibes.
Giving massive Thankyou vibes
THEY ARE MAKING A 4th PIKMIN????
yeah
and thank christ for that
Actually a 5th if u consider Hey Pikmin on 3ds
Why through
Pretty sure I had the same disc booklet thingy as a kid😂
Finger crossed for this channel to become as popular as it deserves

“Do any of these games actually have sentimental value to me or am I just mentally ill?”. As a fellow game collector, it’s mental illness for sure.
It’s such a fun hobby and the nice thing is the games actually hold their value okay, so you can usually get most if not all your money back if you decide to get out. Great entertainment value. I’m excited to see this channel grow!
Holy crap you're underatted. This video is great! Most people don't appreciate little bits and pieces of editing which takes alot of time.
You remind me of the old Scott the woz, not the same but similar, which is great because I miss the old Scott videos so to see someone so similar to him in his old videos is great!

This video dances the line between homage and straight up copying Scott the Woz’s videos
