And bad guys got what they deserve.
25 minutes in - the FL does not say one word to extricate herself from the situation - all she had to do was publicly accuse the 2ML of workplace s@xual harassment instead of dumbly allowing accusations. That said, the ML is supportive, as are his parents, and there are no tedious misunderstandings due to lack of communication. Happy ending.

Very beautiful actress who plays as Wang Yan but she will do it to stay strong to bear for the pain she is holding between her parents but she also has to be honest about Lu Yu's feelings. I wouldn't even accept a mockery if I were myself in his position. It's not a game to play with other people's feelings, otherwise it's normal to be hurt by something like that who feels a beautiful feeling. I, for example, being a girl, am so sensitive to such things that I get hurt easily and on the other hand I am so stupid that I immediately start crying.

I’m only 34 in so far but one of my biggest FL pet peeves in these mini dramas is when they willingly get married to the ML (both contract based and non contract based) and then the FL acts annoyed and mad at the fact she’s married. 🙄 As if she didn’t fully know what she was getting into and agree to it. I especially hate it when it’s a fake relationship and every time they have to act the FL gets mad when the ML does something as simple as holding her hand. 2:11:47 idfc how much you love your job this is the dumbest decision you could ever make. It’s like she’s asking to be ambushed atp.
I actually watched it all they way through and I'm not mad about it. I liked the story if not some characters. I would recommend. These types of portrayal for the FL character is grating on my nerves. They are just made to clam up and become a statue while waiting for the ML to come into the scene. It's played the same way every time. This is the second time FL actress has played this role that I've seen and there is no difference. Nothing new is given in the role. The character lacked personality, room to roam, it was just stilted. I liked the story progression and how certain formulaic sequence were done earlier on instead of at the end. I liked softening of the ML character after he finally told her the secret. It had good connectivity, it was decently balanced, and it wasn't isolating. Not a fan of FL character protrayal, but I can't tell if it's the actress or director's fault even though I'm kinda leaning one way...

These stories improved so much. Ml wanted revenge started hurting fl and she left him and got married to some else quickly. She freed herself from that toxic abusive ml and didnt go back to him and even proved to him that her family is innocent and ml revenge was wrong. All of this without her getting hurt and finding a new caring man... Oh god such normal story, no woman endures when a man tortures her for revenge, she leaves and finds someone else... Just like this fl did... Good job😊
The good news is that the she didn’t end up with the vindictive scumbag who wrongly believed she was the daughter of his father’s murderer, and because of this had been enacting his revenge on her for the last eight years despite falling in love with her. Then when he discovers that he was wrong and hurt the wrong person, he wants to “make up” for all the bad things he did to her. (Those really bug me! Leave the poor woman alone and let her get on with her life already!🙄) Instead she stays with her caring, supportive husband who turns out, has loved her for years. (Pretend playboy who is actually a nice guy finishes first! Yay! 🎉 ) Honestly it’s not like this show was going to go the other route, but there are so many of those toxic shows out there, that I just wanted to clarify! 😜
I liked that the ML loves FL all those years and always trying to protect her. I don’t like too much hitting in dramas but I just wish the ML would use some actions against the male villain. He’s too calm. Even when he found FL on the floor probably having a miscarriage , he didn’t kick the villain or smash his face. I wish he did that first before taking her to the hospital. I like the FL but to me, she is far too weak here. At least it was a happy ending.
