Luis Diaz was absolutely incredible! He may have missed a couple of great chances, but his work rate, dribbling, energy and tenacity was just phenomena! He gives absolutely everything on that pitch every time he plays.
Exactly, I don't understand why people say he played a terrible game. I mean yes he missed great chances but that happens to the best, if the fans had more confidence in Darwin Lucho and Gakpo they would be amazing.
Yes, his misses were bad, but at the same time I think nobody showed more passion and courage than Diaz, he had some very good moments and gave Walker a hard time. Hope his finishing will improve though YNWA
Because it doesn't matter if you work hard and dribble well. If you can't finish your chances as an attacking player (and cost your team 3 points with poor finishing), you're going to get legitimate criticism.

Díaz should no longer be playing on the starting XI with Liverpool, the lad is good at dribbling but that is not enough, he needs to be clinical and today he was absolutely horrendous in that matter. I'd be not surprised if he leaves this summer

i doubt that any of the men on the pitch for Liverpool would agree that they 'toyed' with Man City. You're more likely to find that they gave everything they had and are rightfully satisfied in providing a standard of opposition that City couldn't break down.

For City though... it's even worse. We had 1 academy player and a reserve goalie in defense- the goalie- Keevin Kelleher, and at centreback- Jarell Quansah. If you can't score, with a team of some of the best players in the world, against a defense that's half academy-level, then you're truly abysmal.
Imagine Liverpool rocking up at the Etihad for a title-decider... and you've got Kevin Daley next to Dias or Ake and James Hiddink in goal(just names I made up to make a point). Everyone would go: "WTH is that!?" .. and then we manage a draw.
It would be pathetic.
Not to mention, there were various other positions occupied by academy graduates at some portions of the game...
Think about it- a reserve goalie who isn't even well-known outside of Liverpool, stopped your 100smillion pound strikeforce and De Bruyne from scoring!

@@luckykurniawan6072 He has played 6 pro matches for Liverpool senior team scoring 1 goal and making 3 assist up to this point plus managed to do better than most seasoned prem defenders in competing against one of the best attacking team in the prem (Man City).
Comparing him to Trent and Gomez is crazy when both of them are Prem League and Champions League winners is crazy. Ofcourse they are better than the kid that just have 6 senior games.

Why no one talking about its McAllister's fault to let Stones to score so easy? His bad position to defend Ake and even let Ake push him far away from the near post. Therefore it was very open for Stones to get into the small box. Mc should be the one to defend the near post
