"You gotta trust the process, and enjoy it." I've been painting lots of ghibli scenes these past few weeks (since the start of quarantine) but whenever I want to start painting I lose my confidence but then I gain enough courage and actually enjoy and appreciate the outcome. You just have to have fun. ❤
I rewatched spirited away recently too and I like to think that it was all a real experience but when she finally left it becomes a hazy remembrance or something. If you pay attention closely she still has her purple hair tie that her friends spun for her in the spirit world when she returns to the human world :)
Either the algorithm is really good or we're all just vibin' on the same quarantine wavelength, but I *just* watched Spirited Away for the first time yesterday, lovvvvvvvvved it, and then I come across this video! ❤️
Spirited away was the first studio ghibli film I ever watched, I’ve now seen every film and love every one of them. The stories and music are beautiful and will always be my favourite💛

In all of my nearly seventeen years of living I had never watched a Studio Ghibli film, until today. I watched three films; princess mononoke, howls moving castle and Ponyo and let me tell you, I was addicted! I felt so much love and so much peace just watching the characters and the beautiful scenery and gorgeous sounds tracks come to life it almost made me cry. I can’t say it was my childhood but I can say it made teenage years much easier 🤗
i agree with what the person above me said. jus walk outside for like 5 minutes or even do your reading/drawing outside. It really helps me feel better and more calm (and at peace in a way)
Hi I truly hope you feel better soon. But in the mean time get some fresh air if you can and watch some Ghibli films I've found they calm me down and act as a sort of therapy for me and hopefully for you as well.(or you know anything that you find calming). Good luck and stay safe.
I found that I became apathetic after the first two weeks of lockdown in my country. I was just very down, very stressed, and was slowly having a meltdown. Then I watched this video and it helped calm me. I even picked up the your tip at the beginning about making the bed. Every morning (or rather, noon) I always remind myself to fold my blanket and it immediately just makes me want to leave the bed and work on something productive, may it be painting, writing, or just art. And even though the lockdown in my country has been extended to one more month, I no longer feel apathetic or sad. I just feel joy knowing I will have more time to enjoy creating art in the free time.
This gouache paint definitely has been heaven’s sent for everyone who’s wanting to start on working with gouache. It’s pretty affordable and the colors are so vibrant. I’ve been a very long time fan here Jim and I love this video overall. The aesthetic, what you painted and the music is nostalgic while watching you paint the scene from ghibli. 💞
I've been sleeping terribly the last couple of weeks because of anxiety and chronic illness. Last night I watched this video while bundled up in bed, and it relaxed me so much that when it was done I just slipped right off to sleep and stayed asleep all night 💕
Not only keeping you sane, but also me and I'm sure a lot of others, Thank you very much for this Spirited away is one of the best movies ever! My favorite scene is when they remember Haku's real name, it's so emotional... brings me tears of joy every time like it's the first

This video was such a fresh breath of air. I felt like it was giving me a big hug. It’s so refreshing how you didn’t even talk but I could just know how passionate you were about the movie and your art. Thank you. This really made me feel better.
I got up the chair, made camomile tea, took a shower and dressed up on cozy clothes to set the vibe to watch this video. It´s the most beautiful thing of my week so far.
