indeed. I was introduced to Band Maid via Freedom from LCS vid - then the clips from this and Vlad's Euro shows were what totally hooked me on how staggeringly good this band is live....

The set list was perfect with all bangers, not a dull moment. I especially love the MISA intro for Choose Me at the last song of the set. I play this often while driving. Great footage! (even though it is focused on only one side). Gives a great perspective on Misa who is frequently overlooked in videos. I've been an avid follower of this band for a few years now and they never cease to amaze me. There is so much wrapped up in this experience: The curious "maid paired with the goth" outfits, the outstanding musical proficiency of each person on stage, the professionalism (but relaxed, spontaneous, fun stage presence), the tight sets (really well-crafted set list), the rare (but again really well crafted and creative) blend of speed metal, prog-rock, funk, even pop. The "heaviness, paired with sweetness" that is done is a very sincere and uncontrived manner. I know they are a collection of committed/disciplined and hard working individuals. I will add this to my collection of regularly watched videos.
One thing I realised here is that in 2018 Miku has had only four years to master her guitar playing. She has really put in the hours to get to this level of competence with the complexities of these arrangements. Her band, her genius. Probably my favourite set of songs ie. The Zepp, Tokyo DVD.

What could be better than right down front on Misa's side of the stage?.....Great crowd too....That guy over on stage left in the tie must have come straight from work....2018 was the year I discovered Band Maid...I've never been the same

My first Band Maid show, hot NorCal Indian summer day, the weekend of the 1st Napa fire the air reeked of burnt wood and the Maid's really brought it, Saiki just blew me away after being "stone cold" in the meet & greet she absolutely came alive on stage......what an amazing show.....btw, I was on that side of the stage about 10 people behind you, lol 😃👍
Since they started writing their own music they just blew up, proof the talent was always there, management just had to let go and let them do it their way
This is the first time I've seen Miku need to pull a new pick from her microphone stand. 15:50 (other than the end of okyu-ji when she throws them to the audience.)
