Wished I could help more, but i'm 76 with cancer problems. normally I wouldn't even be on youtube, but with my problems this at least allows me to dream of better times. Thanks, and hang in there, it'll get better.
I’m glad you are able to watch. Cancer is a nasty thing, my scar on my face is from a recent surgery to remove some, but luckily the good kind of skin cancer if there is such a thing. Happy New Year!
You sir are a great ambassador to the world of trapping. The content you produce is awesome. Great mentor to the youth you are teaching. Keep up the good work and I will keep watching. Thanks for sharing for sharing
I dont trap or hunt, but I love watching trappers, hunters, fishermen and anything that has to do with outdoors. You got me to sub to your channel. The way you explain is knowledgeable. Looking forward to see your next adventure
So strange coyotes are not selling now. Not long ago it was the highest marked common fur. At least it was in eastern Canada. You for about the same amount of snow as is! Weird year for snow. Even a light dusting so you can see what's fresh prints wpuld be better. Thanks for sharing. Happy new year!
Congrats on the wolf. Heres to the eye getting better. Happy new year and keep up the great content.. we are juat starting to connect on wolfs here in interior alaska video will coming this week
Ya there are a ton. I try to subscribe to the newer ones to help boost their number closer to 1000 subs, and then there are a few regulars like yours that I watch and learn some new tips. What’s your plan with all your coyotes that you always end up with?
I keep my eye out for them as well. Hope guys post on here so we can support them. With coyote prices I changed things up again and working more on wolves, beaver and marten but bait has been hard to get this year. I only started after wolves this week with the warm temps.
@@deadpinecollective You are doing well it’s gona be quite for a week or 2 I’m waiting on colder weather lots of people doing outdoor activities from cutting wood to hiking
Nice to see you take that black wolf. To bad about the mange but those buggers still eat. Probably 40 percent of the Wolves ive taken in the past 15 years have had mange, shoulder mites, or both. Happy New Year and good luck in 2024!
For sure we need to support other trappers . Im from New Brunswick Canada . due to health problems, i don't trap much anymore. but have a few videos on making weasel boxes and my new version of rat funnel traps .
Good Morning! Do you have anyone else trapping in your area? I know some places have registered traplines where you have exclusive rights. Here, it's public ground and I never know for sure. I would like to let my dogs show me the best spots, but I don't want them finding someone's trap. They always go along, but stay in the truck. Great video! Too bad about that wolf. It's good to get mange out of the woods though. Yeah, coyotes are terrible this year as far as price.
We have registered lines here in Canada and my line is quite large, 400 sq miles. Pacer is out with me every time and knows to stay away from the cubbies. He went through one snare once and just sat down. He always stays close to me unless he is playing with the kids and they know not to throw sticks anywhere around snare sites. He follows tracks and pees over their markings which is good. He often walks under snares because his head is down. I always enjoy your videos as well and the beautiful scenery.
How do you keep your dog from being snared and has it been caught before?? Congrats on the catches!!! Catch'em Up!!! I enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Pacer stays close and I keep an eye on him. He often walks under the snares because his nose is down sniffing. He has walked through one but stopped and sat down. Thanks for watching
Happy New Year, hopefully the animals are plenty. My channel is Catch .22 Outdoors, North Dakota, USA. I've been dealing with injuries so no videos lately but I'm on the mend. Good luck everyone!
Love your videos great that your teaching the youth , wolves are the most challenging for us trappers. I have a few good videos on my Chanel on wolves. Moose . Bears , with a lot more to come . fern trapper please enjoy
i trade you for some coyotes ... what you want for them ? $ or ? I have a lot of trapping gear / I am retired and trapping is now unlawful here in New Mexico. I prefer coyotes finished ( not tanned ) lips, eyelids feet etc for Taxidermy.

When animal rights protesters went after Canada Goose for using real fur it crippled the coyote market.
Happy New Year. You also have a great channel with outdoor adventures out East. Snaring rabbits and wolves are actually very similar 😁
We talked about it with the fur buyer and that was only part of it but definitely had an affect. Most fur now is being bought by Italy and Korea.
Congrats on the wolf. Heres to the eye getting better. Happy new year and keep up the great content.. we are juat starting to connect on wolfs here in interior alaska video will coming this week
Happy New Year. Love the area you are trapping and look forward to the next video on your channel
If you tanned your coyotes I could send you a mitt and hat pattern for you and the students… might be a fun projects for you guys .
Thanks. I do have some patterns but I’m not much of a sewer 😂
Yes lots of good new channels. Tough to watch them all. You have a bit more snow than me. Not much moving here.

Ya sucks about the fur but they need to be managed regardless. I’ve been feeding them well in that area but there are so many out there!
Morning I love trapping and wolves are the hardest to catch , I have only managed to take just over 300
Well I’d say you know what you are doing 😁👍🏼👍🏼. Thanks for watching. Do you have a channel?
Class act Reid as always. Happy new year! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Chris. We all play a part to keep trapping alive. 😁
Doing great work buddy! The weather down here in Missouri has been less than favorable as well.
Really enjoy watching your channel!!
I’m your 700th sub. I’ve watched your channel and thought I had subbed. Good luck with those beavers!!
Very much appreciated @@deadpinecollective
The warm and the no snow thing is killing us too.
It's really hard trapping in my area as well. No snow animals don't need the bait.
Backcountry…another great trapping channel from BC. Thanks for your support Kyle for our program cleaning skulls with your beetles!! 😁

I’ll have to look into the legalities of shipping raw fur to the US
