    This video was very pleasing, very Zen. It was good to see how many times the lettuce was washed and the handlers were all completely PPE'd. Nice clean factory, fabulous technology and a good result.

    Es increíble todo el proceso que hacen solo para cortar y lavar la lechuga, cuando nosotros mismos podemos hacer esto en casa. Además el empaque de plástico que usan, 🤔 no se justifica tanto gasto en energía eléctrica, empaques y demás procesos. Es mejor lo NATURAL!!!

    The men that design these line machines always amaze me as to the production they can produce...thanks for the upload! The Robot loading the boxes is a waste of production...That whole line there, should be manned...The bag sealers hand off to boxers, box on the belt, sealed and stamped...

      Whatever nutrition you expect from a, what hold very little already(lettuce=waterleaf) is gone and in its place Chemicals

    If they were more gentle perhaps the lettuce would last more than a day in bag. They are brusing the leaves everytime it gets thrown or dropped.

    The points that need humans will soon be replaced. It will be very easy to use self driving lifters to transport the boxes from the output to the truck. And some system to assure quality. More and more, this will be a black box where produce goes in, product goes out. No human interaction required.

    45 years ago I was visiting a pal at his workplace. He was halving cabbage heads before tossing them into a grinding vat to begin the coleslaw making process.
    He cut his middle finger severely, probably cause we were chatting and he wasn't watching what he was doing.
    He obviously sliced an artery cause the blood was squirting out INTO the vat. He was laughing, I was shocked by his laughter, my gosh that was a lot of blood!
    Anyhow, it was before Aids, Sars, C-19, Hep A, B,C (was so prevalent) so, no harm. Just an unusual memory.
