They want validation so much, they would bring children into this. They barely started preschool and they want to teach children the complexity of sexuality and gender. This is honestly really disgusting. And I do understand that there are households with two mothers and two fathers and that their children would be curious as to why they are that way but teach them when they're older. There's just a lot of things wrong with this generation and how they go about things just to feel validated. Also, shoutouts to anyone named Ace, ya'll got it tough....

Kids are too young to learn about this.I believe the aim they had was to make children accept diversity, but I indeed agree that kids younger than 6 shouldn’t be told about such things as it might really affect their mental health and give them a bad or weird impression on the LGBTQ community early on as these are cartoon characters teaching you about this.

At my school we have an lgbtq support group and on the first day I went there took my seat in the school theatre and the teacher put that video on. I think kids should learn about lgbtq and stuff but this is the wrong way. In television there is forced representation and actual representation. That video is clearly forced representation, if they wanted to really represent lgbtq they would’ve made it less obvious.

As someone from the lgbtq+ community, when I saw the first part of this, my jaw dropped, I was like ‘Not Blues Clues!’ Okay look, in my opinion, just let the kid shows be, you can teach the kid later in life but that’s just my personal opinion and at the end of the day, it’s the parents choice :)

I agree with the sentiment, but late teens is way too late to start talking to your kids about sex and sexuality. The official boundary between childhood and adolescence is 12 years. I started menstruating at 11 and I started puberty at 8. At least for girls, you have to talk to them fairly early. Parents should be the first people to talk to kids about sex. It's for the child's own safety and sanity.
