Nosotros fuimos en julio 2018 , bellísima fuimos a playa Abanico , paradisíaco ese lugar ,en realidad el Caribe es lo más , volvería sobre todo a Bayahibe!!

The best time to go to Dominican Republic is between November and April..the hurricane season is in September-October :)

I want to give all data on hurricanes. From 1930 through 2016 it has only been three hurricanes over the Dominican Republic. Hurricanes are not a danger to consider on this island, Huracan San Senon in 1939, Hurricane David in 1979, Hurricane George 1998. A hurricane does not come suddenly, these are formed in africa and take up to 15 days to reach the Caribbean sea, and at all times its path is controlled. Do not be afraid to hurricanes when you come here.
The best time to come is between January and December, all year. The temperature is always pleasant, and all year we have plenty of sunshine and beaches with warm waters.

when is the best time to go to Dominican Republic? We are planning to go on May 31 through June 7th, is that a good time? I mean that's not a hurricane season right?

yo fui y por poco nos dejan ahi y no nos regresan al hotel si no nos hubieramos encojonado, la comida fue pesima de verdad q no lo recomieno, y no es todo lllenaron demasiado la lancha y hasta agua se le estaba metiendo,estuvimos en el Hotel Bahia Principe y no me quejo estuvo buenisimo pero esa excursion q te lo pintan como lo mejor en verdad q no lo es es votar el dinero pq si hubiese sido gratis no dolia tanto
Que mala suerte tuviste mano! Todos los demás que han comentado están encantados incluyéndome a mi, parece que te fuiste con un tour operador pirata men!
