In rush style, there is ability called: Raptor Mastery's Cool Start. Cool Start is also part of your evading on enemy's attack, if you evade enemy's attack your heat gauge becomes full. Also you have to unlock rank 1 to rank 5 if you do a finance king quest. I hope that answers your curiosity.
