- Shadow Fight 2 is the unique game that have various, different type of moves that a kungfu game have. However, due to every updates they public, the animation of its has been changed and some has no longer in the game.
Some unused moves have been found on game files but never been used in the game.

Also, the sickles/widow's fans old styles appeared in 1.3.0 version and got deleted after 1.4.0( for the sickles but widow fan's was in 1.6.0). Sorry for the wrong informations.

interesting how some of the unsused moves were used in shadow fight 3, like the spear stance and the air punch as the guandao stance and the legion unarmed heavy attack

I think that titan too has problems handling the weapon

What interesting me is that some of the unused animation are actually use for SF3 with some improvement (like the Old Spear stance are use for Guandao weapon).

If you look closely, you can notice how the influence of the old Shadow Fight was still there

The old axes moves were better cuz they look and feel a bit more aggressive, and the current ones just lool goofy. The old spear stance looked sick too. The old sickles super attack was better because it actually had a jump in the final hit. I also would like it if they brought back the old chinese swords super attack and the unused hits too
I totally agree with you, the old hits were too cool and sick but unfortunately they just deleted to change a boring one and also i think old moves just have some kind of violence so they just changed it :(
lots of the weapon attacks (ex the axe) adds unnecessary body rotations, which in an actual fight could probably get you killed
Yes, but lot of attacks were changed due to being unrealistic.
For example old spear stance:
Imagine you are in challenge and rule is
_First off ground looses_
Enemy will punch you in your leg and _BUM_ you lost.
And _wall jump_ was incredibly overkill. And good luck buddy preforming that irl.
nah, the old axes moves are just like swords moves which looks weaird. Axes are suppose to be a bit slow to deliver powerful chop. The new ones are much better at dealing head hits.
the old axe special move and blade tonfas special moves looks sick asf, I didn't know they had that moved before the update was released years ago
The old axes has been deleted since 1.7.0 and blade tonfas has in the files but not been used. I think right now the blade tonfas is still in the files but just be abandoned
I gotta say, there used to be some really cool moves
The spear stance looks the same as Guandao stance from shadow fight 3

Most if the moves were removed for sure because for balanced purposes like some of these moves are just too good luckily some of the moves were returning in the later Shadow Fight games
it really not affected too much in the gameplay. But for me the reason why they removed it was to improve the quality of these moves to the later game
Old spear low slash and old spear spinning slash are used for Thruster spear animations

The concepts of the old spear spinning and low attacks are used on the Thruster
Sickles with a jump foward actually make the whole combo hit, idk why they removed it
Because the enemy would slide away and the last hit will remain handy but the jump will make the us landing and hitting player while he is still laying on the ground
And it wil deal more damage on cruelty perk😊
The (Old) Sai Heavy Spit is better than what it is now, it’s recovery is pretty fast… wish it stayed though because I’m really trying to like Sai’s, but that won’t happen with how freakishly slow the recovery’s are with them. Excellent video bro👌

The giant sword moves are used by titan in shadow fight 2 but heavy slash is little bit different
Yes, but this small delastor wasn't the official weapon. You can see it kind of broken when you perform a super slash or heavy slash.

For me it's because the victim wakes up 2 times which makes this animation looked error

i never knew that there were so many animation changes and animations that just havent been used at all! i think they shouldve stayed with the first animations they had with some weapons and kept the animations for the leg throw and such. and obviously, revert the change that bombs the player with millions of ads.
Yea i absolutely agree with u. Since the game at the moment is too heavy for my memory regardless my andriod version is 10 but can't play it frequently
Старые движения действительно ощущаются как что-то новое. Грустно что большинство движений Nekki просто вырезали и добавили только в SF3. Игра полностью по-другому чувствуется с этими движениями без оружия.
Как говориться - "Все новое - хорошо забытое старое."
It's not old but restored animations that were before 2.0 onwards version. Rather these so called 'old' animation were so poor that Nekki decided to restore most of them back to previous iterations (although the new axe kick was cool and quick).
Only real legends remember these animations from sf1

Wall jump(old) was in vector.
It was also used in SF3 for the Dynasty Faction
Scissor Kick used in SF3 for Heralds
Air punch in SF3 used as hold punch for Dynasty, Ironclad's Air punch, knuckles hold punch

It's not removed, they just not used in the game and these moves are in the game files

It's kind of sad seeing how much unique moves are there that went unused, especially for weapons that have a lot of duplicates like tonfas or axes
Some of the old spewr moves were used for the thruster
I just realised why the leg throw was removed..mortal kombat 3 had already used it so neki wouldve thought copying another game isnt original
I wish the old barehanded moves still existed. Maybe one day a mod with them will be created?
The scissor kick looks especially useful, though others are cool too.

Now we know where did Legion's jump come from.
Titan uses scisors kick, spear spinning Slash Is in the game but only on one weapon, Spear low slash in on the same weapon As spear spinning Slash.
Hm they probably changed the animations for Magic because of how long the startup is, making it easier to dodge or counter so they made it more fast paced and lesser startup although i admit the animations for the old magic looks amazing

the unused moves are now added to sf3 and 4
I just realised 90 percent of the unused or removed moves are now used in shadow fight arena!
For eg. Air punch is ironclads Superman punch
Yeah bro some concepts have returned to sf3 and arena
Some are because of balance issues, the spear moveset, just like the axe kick and the standing backflip, some have increased reach, the axe kick can dodge certain lows
And the spear is made to have more reach and also faster attack speed
Is sad not seing the superman punch or the scissor kick
2:17 The old versions of Spear Spinning Slash and Spear Low Slash were reused for the Thruster. Just thought it'd be helpful to point it out since not many players care about that weapon.
