Sir, I think you miss the content of the statement he made. Be honest with yourself, when a man goes and share handbills and comes back, if you ask him where he is coming from, he will say he is coming from evangelism, but is that evangelism in itself? Men may come to your church and encounter Christ, nevertheless, evangelism is not inviting men to church but to Christ.
That is not evanglism Sir , Evanglism is not by handbills. What is the Gospel of truth that you didn't testify to them when you met them at first. They should be eager to know your God after meeting you. So learn what he is saying.
In addition sinners don’t like to come and show interest in church that is reason we are expected to win them to Christ before inviting and bringing them to the church. In most cases those invited to the church through church marketing don’t really get saved even when they come because they are not seeking for God they only came because they have been cajoled by God blessings, that is why you see today the church is filled with decent and responsible sinners no genuine encounter with Christ. Matt 28:19-20, we are to go and preach the gospel message
The Kingdom man has His Constitution, called the Commandments (Matt 5:17-19, John 14:21, Rev 14:12, Rev 22:14) The rebelious "chuch" has find a way to nicely talk.
