From what I heard, this movie is canon. It takes place after Cobra Kai. I also like that they are retconing Mr Han into this universe. Fun fact, Japan didn’t invent “Karate”. Japan learned Kung-Fu from the Chinese and Japan calls it Karate.

My issue is that very few people who analyze the series actually know the history and background of the art beyond the surface-level lore the franchise gives, but "expertly break things down". I don't know your musical preference, but it's like hearing people say "urm, actually..I listen to MGK and Macklemore...so I KNOW Hip Hop and I don't know why people wanna say Hip Hop started in The Bronx." Or even more accurate " I know Asian Cuisine cause I grew up with Panda Express."

There is no reason why Han can't mentor more than Dre in his LIFE. That was 15 years ago and Dre would now be an adult and out of Han's orbit. Mr miyagi's ancestor ended up in China in the distant past and learned martial arts there then eventually came back to Japan with a Chinese wife and children...so perhaps Han and Myagi are related...also Han is a master of Kung fu not Karate so if he feels this kid needs both why wouldn't he search out the next best teacher for him since the man he would have chosen is gone?
I kinda enjoy all 3 venom movies morbius Kraven the Hunter yes those movies not perfect. Stories might not make sense but I enjoy it what it is. I’m not biased. Anyway, those movies are better than Madame Webb Madam Webb God, awful movie I ever seen just saying bro
