- Zambian Music at its best. The Siame Brothers came on the Zambian music scene in the mid 90s with a smash hit featuring "Nyina Kataila, Mpanga ya Mambwe and many more. The songs were done in Mambwe which one of Zambia's common dialect of the Bemba tribe in Northern Zambia especially in Mbala, Mpulungu and Nakonde. Their name Siame was commonly mispronounced for "Siamese Twins" The Kalambo Hit Parade are one of Zambia best guitarists next to none maybe Paul Ngozi can match up.

I love Mambwe songs. In the song Mpanga ya Mambwe the boys used lyrics paying tribute to my father Winelo Sinyangwe as Ya 'Nyangu mwe' and my Mum as 'Ya Mwate mwe'. I was close to the boys in he village called Kasunga, chief Mwamba in Mbala. The choreography or (art of designed dance) is superb. The influence of the music originates from Tanzania where music and dance was part of social life. If you owned and played an acoustic guitar, then you were a celeb. We played at weddings, memorial, sundowns, and any other ceremonies. The harmony as duets is classic and excellent. Ya Siame Tuliza to tumizane mwe. May Their Souls Rest In eternal Peace.
