And the second thing I want to say is, even if HDRP seems to be a good server, it is definitely not a good employer. And yeah, maby this sounds strange what I just wrote, but I was once Sr Moderator and I left because there aren't any words of thanks to the teammembers. Its was and still is a "work or get kicked of the team" atmosphere there. And if you aren't on good terms with the higher ups, its very hard to get an uprank or other things done. So basically all I want to say with that is, rp is all in all good, but how they manage and treat the teammembers is really bad / terrible. A lot of teammembers leve because of that. But ok, there's always a bright and dark side.

I would like to address your concerns about staff members being pressured into "working or being kicked". I have joined HDRP 7 days after it was initially opened, and joined the staff team roughly a month afterwards, as the first "Moderator" since Staff Roles had other names back then. At the time that I am writing this, I am one of the two server directors, and have spent more than a year within the administration. Not a single moderator left the team for inactivity, against their will. There have been demotions from high ranking staff members, due to their inactivity having a major negative aspect to the community. It is one of my biggest priorities to prevent exactly that, what you just mentioned. I've made dozens of public statements that we do not want to cause staff members to evaluate their work in a competitive style such as star-ratings in user-feedbacks or general activity. Promotions are not solely based on those aspects either, but they are of course taken into account to some degree. I have written 22 Staff Announcements during my time as an Administrator+, and almost all of them end with some kind of thanking to the Staff Team as a whole. You could say, that I have seen several "generations" of moderators come and go, but I cannot be more thankful for those who spend their freetime to improve the freetime of others by professionally moderating all of our user-interactions.
