Hi! I stopped by your channel not to learn about Cracker Sheep, but because I read an article of Chelsea's on church pop about Catholic Veils. Your article lit me up! I also attended mass as a child but veered off into new age-y territory as an adult and then had an epiphany one day that led to me attending mass all on my own. And it was GLORIOUS and my family thinks I'm a little bonkers! So it was nice to read your experience and know there is someone else out there who appreciates the beauty that is the Catholic church, the badassness of the mantilla, and the desire in the hearts of millenials for tradition, rules, and culture. I was unable to reach your website holysparkle, but I would love to hear more of your journey into Catholicism one day!

Nabila Ayaba hello! Thank you for finding me- I’m glad that article still exists! Sigh, sadly I stopped paying for the renewal on my blog Holy Sparkle because I was just letting it sit and didn’t feel I could justify the monthly cost anymore. I do hope to do some more writing once the girls are a little older- I love to write about Catholicism but it does take a lot of bravery! We did end up converting and are super happy. If you are looking for a good faith based podcast I highly recommend Fountains of Carrots.

Lamb and mutton that I have tried has a grease that sticks to your teeth, like caribou meat... maybe there is a good way to cook it that I don’t know.

Thanks for this video! I'm new to sheep and just curious if you've ever milked your sheep? How is their milk production?

I’ve been wanting to start crocheting with some wool yarn so I’ll be watching for your wool to become available. I prefer natural fibers for my clothes and bedding. I just ordered a wool topper for my bed this week, can’t wait to try it out!

Would a small homestead with say, 4-6 florida cracker sheep, be able to get a decent sized wool crop? I'm new to sheep and trying to do as much research as I can before I commit.

Apple Smith it’s hard to say because there are so many factors involved, such as fleece quality (some are better producers than others) and yield (if your sheep get into a bunch of burrs and wreck part of their fleece, then obviously you get less wool). Most people do it as a fulfilling hobby at that level and it’s very rewarding! Sheep eat grass and are therefore quite cheap

Hi! We live in Live oak and want to have some crackers on our property! do you sell lambs yearly? this info got me so excited! thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!

Bianca Neill we may occasionally sell lambs, but we end up using most of our lambs either as breeders for the future of the flock or as meat for our customer base. There’s a great group on Facebook called Florida Cracker Sheep for sale and that’s a good place to get started purchasing sheep!

Would these thrive in a big-city backyard? Asking for a friend.

Thank you for the video. Thank you Farmer Tim family for being you and for all you provide. Chelsea, thank you for having me on your list for purchasing yarn. Can hardly wait to receive and gift to knitting and crocheting friends and someday I will get back into it myself.
