I’m with you when you quipped he was kind enough to eat the head first 😅 While it’s so fascinating to watch them hunt and devour their prey I always feel sorry that they’re being eaten alive! Love your mantids collection!

Totally it must be the worse way to go... I'm convinced if there was a big battle royale of all the animals in the world and they were the same size - the mantis would come out on top theyre truly the apex predators of the insect world!

@@Wade_Wiley I don't know. I'd hate to say how many smaller spiders I've tried to feed them, which have killed the mantis. One time, the mantis got it and the spider bit the mantis and both died. I just found a small spider and I was leery of putting it in with a big mantis.
