Not to forget Lakshadweep.. I recently learnt that it was Sardar Patel whose quick thinking and action got Lakshadweep with India otherwise it would also gone to Pakistan. I am grateful to Jaishankar for keeping the actual facts in front of the world and country so that now the picture is clear. That’s why the opposition is angry. But they can do nothing..

Unlike Congress where Indian businesses hardly made a profit and foreign companies who collaborated with congress not only made profit and corruption and exploitation and also whenever case was filed against them the congress lawyers lobby went to defend them. (bofors, union carbide to name a few). Big scams were rampant. Society divided on the bases of caste and religion so that its easy for congress to control vote banks. Qualified individuals went to west, west progressed on the backs of our talent just because of the situation and environment created by the congress.

In your five years as Forein Minister all our neighbours become anti India. This never happened in the past.
One has to stop always blaming the past as a country progresses in time. Nehru era politicians had different level of circumstances and realities. Building a foundation requires trials, validation and course correction and that is what they did with what they had. They atleast organised a " constitution" which is relevant todate. It took US 300+ years to stabilise into a power. China has grown faster in the last three decades. India with a different demography is discovering herself progressively and democratically. Improve the present. Don't hide behind the past. Improve what you can with what you have and can achieve NOW!
You can only improve in the future when you honestly acknowledge the truth of the past. Trying to glorify past leaders when they actually screwed the country royally is not helping in the transition.
