What a great gift from a great daughter!! I do feel a little bad. He was obviously brought to tears and was having one of the most overwhelming and emotional moments in his life and the other lady wouldn't let up. Just because she doesn't know how it works, doesn't mean it doesn't work - it just means she don't know how it works. It's like saying a cell phone a hoax because you don't know how radio waves work At least he gets to keep enjoying the color forever now!
Omg so true! “What do you see???” The only thing missing in this one is the compulsory 4 year old jumping around and trying to steal the glasses off his face.
It must be hard, knowing you're being filmed at an emotional time like that. The lady could have been more tactful, you could tell he was uncomfortable with all her questions.
I watched quite a number of these videos and nothing gets me more than watching grown men breaking down over color, makes me feel, what they must be feeling.
Color blind people have a deficiency in the "rods and cones " in our optic systems that prevent the ability to see sharp vivid color tones through the entrance of light through the eye.
Folks should prepare the gift recipient for the shock of seeing color for the first time better than they do. It can be quite a traumatic experience. I watched a big middle aged man who looked like he could bench press my SUV, giggle and run around like a 5 year old when he first put them on, only to end up later sobbing like Charlton Heston in ‘Soylent Green’ saying….’How could I have known?’. We take all this for granted every day.
I watched a video and the man said “Are you telling me this is what you see all the time?” He burst into tears because he realized that for 75 years he had missed all of this…
Can someone explain to me how a person that has never seen color, knows the name of the color of something, like she asked what color her shirt was and he said it was red? But how does he know that if he never seen color??
I just can't see enough of these :)
Sweet guy. The woman is really annoying though. Just shut up and let the poor guy have his moment.
seriously!!!!!!!!

What did she think was going on when he was immediately brought to tears ? He's faking ?
These glasses are truly amazing; you put them on, and instantly your family starts yapping like crazy. Works every time.
lol

Oops spoke too soon. The annoying little kid requirement was met.

Why does that lady have to be so foreceful and bombarding...just let him experience this, geeze.

“Do they have batteries” made me laugh on that one hahahahah
When I was a kid I used to think you had to pay to go to the bank.
LOL! My grandmother wanted a Reese's Penis Blizzard at DQ.
This sad is so precious. I want to hug him. 😍
I guess people cry because they think of all they've missed in their life.
Not tears of sorrow, tears of joy! Crying is from the heart being overwhelmed. We have been thought that are from sorrow.
Very cool, they work by using a polarising lens that blocks out part of the light spectrum that makes the colors mix in your dads head

„Do you see the colors? Can you see the difference? Do you really see the colors? Really?“ 😂
Annoying, like the children.
@@viceroyzh in most of these videos people are annoying like this
Bless him 🙏🏼❤️
I always cry. For them to finally see all of God’s beautiful color creations 😊🙌🏼🌸🍃
Thanks for sharing. Also, if I behaved as that kid off camera... I wouldn't be typing this today.
He cried and she thought it was a hoax lol.
Must be very empathic.
What a Beautiful gift...🥰

Congrats and I hope you enjoy them for a long time to come
Whoa, how sudden that burst of onion vapor entered my room!
I'm so waiting for him to look at the flowers...
I bet he thought he was wearing a white shirt. Its pink. Too many questions... let him explore.
Mom and daughter are very annoying.
Go see a sunset
There are videos on how they work. They polarize light, to separate (block) small parts of it, so that the cones are less confused.
Kids just aren't accustomed to not being the center of attention. lol. Thanks for sharing.
To live your whole life, become a gray-haired father, and finally see red for the first time.
I'd cry harder than that, I'm sure.
I watched a video and the man said “Are you telling me this is what you see all the time?” He burst into tears because he realized that for 75 years he had missed all of this…
Way too much chatter. I bet you constantly dominate him 24/7.
All in luv of course.
Hey what color is this!?? “I don’t know what color that is; I’ve never seen it before”
Can someone explain to me how a person that has never seen color, knows the name of the color of something, like she asked what color her shirt was and he said it was red? But how does he know that if he never seen color??
I'm confused at how somebody who is colorblind knows what color something is wouldn't they have to learn the color spectrum
Enchroma glasses... check ☑
Next on the list:
Earplugs 🟦
"Do they have batteries in 'em?"
***Note the quotation marks. This is a QUOTE from the video. I'm not asking the question.
No they dont
They have to plugged in via USB at all times unfortunately 😆
Nice Ad!

if you've never seen color before how can you know something is red?
I want to see him outside!
Ok- how can he say this shirt is red if he never saw colours before?
Is it like going from a bad black and white TV or the best of today?
