There's at least three categories of people who talk about the desert area:
1)The ones who complain about the scarabs
2)The ones who obsess over the sand physics
3)The ones who make dad jokes when Cyno is on-screen
i spend time gushing over the fact that the sand doesnt just get drawn on textures, but it actually parts away as you push it. If you run along it when it overlaps another texture, the sand will move apart to reveal the texture underneath it. I never played a game with decent sand physics before so i was HYPED AF

5:47 this specific puzzle in this location is pain in the ass, literally i had to retry too many times everytime i was late by 0.5s to release that star(?) guide and it would just got blown away by the fan
in the end i still did it for a freaking common chest ugh
When you make the star go inside the torch the common chest is not the only reward, a fan gets activated that takes you to another floor where you need to use the thingy that reveals illusion (the one that looks like a triangle), basically it opens up an hole in the wall, and if you go inside there's another hole on the floor that leads to a room with a precious chest
It’s not “just” for a common chest… You use the new wind current and fly upstairs, it’s the only way to enter a building with several puzzles and more valuable chests inside, and a dendroculus.

This concludes a hell lot of it but i swear if they made the other new regions have THIS much underground area as sumeru has im gonna commit homicide (눈‸눈) inazuma is alright, like for tataratsuna, tsurumi, seirai, and yashiori island, i can freely explore after doing JUST ONE QUEST but the DESERT. I thought i finished it all after golden slumber but NO, genshin said i still need to do two other quests WHICH IS JUST AS LONG as the first one. Aranara can slip away because they're cute, if a BIT annoying but still passable but THIS :
1. THE UNDERGROUND MAZES AND RUINS
2. THE INVISIBLE WALLS
3. THE AMOUNT OF LAYERS IN THAT UNDERGROUND AREA BENEATH THE MAUSOLEUM
4. THE WHOLE CLEARANCE THING AND THE AMOUNT OF STUFF CANT BE DONE WITHOUT IT
5.. THE CHAIN QUESTS
6.. THE SACRED SEALS (a bit passable since they give precious chests)
7. THE COMMON CHESTS
8. THE SCARABS (which i still have grudges till this day especially since i pull for cyno)
All in all, inazuma is 100% better and is way more fun than the desert even if a lot of people would disagree but I STOOD BY MY OPINION THAT THE SUMERU DESERT IS HELL
i feel like tomb guard of the desert might be the easiest boss yet

One of the most shitty map so far, too much walking in big desert plus it's empty. Underground or pyramid got too much elevator mechanic, most of them are empty as well and confusing to backtrack them without map. Mihotard really did it this time.

Common chest one is so true (6:12). I got so mad following that same exact torch light through 3 fans. Same with the grass squares in Sumeru.

So far, I adjusted my team to Dendro-Pyro-Electro-Anemo.
If I can clear all enemies quickly, I can replace my Dendro with Hydro DPS or Cryo DPS.

im jus probably dumb or they went overboard with the puzzles in the desert, there were lots of things that needs to be unpuzzled and i was lil overwhelmed so i unlocked all the waypoints visible to me instead and called it a day

If you have finished the archon quest for Raiden,when sumeru came out next would be Nahida and there would be 5 new bosses (I only remember some).I’ll tell you them, Electro Regisvine,Scaramouche weekly boss,Jadeplum Terroshroom,Dendro Hypostasis and king Deshret (I think that’s the bosses name,King Deshret)
