I swear the parents during kids sports oftentimes act like children themselves that it just becomes sad and ironic.
Often it's because they're too old/unfit/lazy to play the sport themselves so they project their ambition onto the kid
I remember when I was playing netball, the amount of pressure on the sole national representative in the club (Rebels if I remember).

As a music loving genre explorer I listen to a lot of genres that most would go “bro what are you even listening to 🤨”, but it’s worth it because I found amazing songs for my playlists from new genres and cool hidden artists who really deserve the attention

I reffed youth soccer for a bit. Had one kids mom constantly yelling out on the field at other kids on her son's team and how they made her son look bad. Told her to knock it off of I was gonna have to eject her from the game. She called my bluff and I red carded her kid and kicked them both from the field. Got a call from the head of the referee association earlier telling me my services were no longer needed. Getting fired had never felt so worth it lol.

I had to go to the hospital to get testing done and I knew I’d be there a while, so I brought my phone’s back up battery, my cross stitching supplies, and my AirPods and just chilled and had 2 hours of relaxing without being bothered by my kids. It was nice lol

Honestly, what people even mention. Saw a streamer throw a temper tantrum over one of his many viewers cracking a joke about that speedrun cheater guy. All it was was "that character looks like Dreams pfp" and the guy basically labeled all his viewers as toxic stans.
Seriously, just because people don't explicitly hate an entire community/product/entertainment piece with a passion doesn't mean they fall under your stereotype. Calm down. Just wait for them to actually do something before you start screaming at them.

Just about everything, honestly. Can you affect the outcome? No? Calm down. Yes? Do so and then calm down.
Other people have lives and can make their own decisions. If you want to take a crack at convincing people, go ahead. Getting upset doesn't make you more convincing, just makes everyone more annoyed. Take care of yourself before worrying about others, and come up with solutions that don't require the cooperation of others.

If time is a factor LEAVE EARLIER, it's not rocket science. Or carpool, take public transit, et cetera; be part of the solution.
I commuted along the same route for 10+ years. I was late due to traffic six times, max.
I ended up having traffic buddies, a few other commuters I'd see every day, we'd nod or wave. One young lady in a flash MR2 would zoom and jockey by me at Imjin...traffic would congeal...a couple of miles later I'd give her space to merge at the well-known chokepoint...she'd wave. Eventually she changed her game, she slotted in behind me early instead of fighting traffic, and she got to our exit just as fast. She learned to relax to the situation.
Sports
When somebody with something that will heal without a hospital is getting surrounded with panic by other people. It happened to me a bit ago. I almost passed out, 3 minutes after me and my mother got away from that situation I was feeling like not passing out.
So we all supposed to respond by gaslighting 💀
When the store changes hours and swears at me thinking that I had something to with it or blames the president. One lady did this and she runs the Uber for handicapped people do you talk to your customers like that lady.

yep this. the only reason i even have an iphone at all (and its not a 14 its an 11 and works great) is bc my moms like 4 year old iphone 8 died so she got a buy one get one thing where me and my mom each got an iphone 11 for the price of 1. got my first phone at 12 and ive just been using it since. when the actual phone dies (like in 2-3 years) thats when ill get something else. maybe upgrade to a 13. idk. if i didnt get that whole bogo thing then i would be using a samsung and just wouldnt care because it works
I have an iPhone se 2020, wife's old phone. Ill get her current one when she updates in a couple years. I always got the cheapest Android I could find previously, they have the same function as an expensive iPhone.

Dear god! All that nonsense at 8:02 is the reason why I only taught martial arts lessons for about a month. I have always been a gifted fighter and teaching martial arts to kids is legitimately what I saw myself doing for the rest of my life. How naive I was at age 19. x_x

The nuclear reactor one was kinda stupid. Wind can still carry radiation hundreds of miles away if there were to be a malfunction…
Of course nuclear reactors are "designed" not to blow up--but when safety systems fail, parts of the power plants can and will explode from heat and pressure, scattering radiation over a wide area. Both the Chernobyl and Fukushima had safety measures in place, and those safety measures failed, resulting in catastrophic explosions.
Those reactors are decades old.
@Stand up Straight Fukushima was way overblown, and also in a horrible place to have a power plant, in addition; both were not maintained properly nor did they have appropriate staff mataining everything. Also, today's nuclear reactors have double and sometimes triple the fail safe technology. There a reason a actual catastrophic nuclear meltdown has accorded since chernobly.

The problem with nuclear energy is that despite all the safety features you can never rule out the inevitability of someone being so idiotic that they just ignore those safety features no matter how many warnings and should you put up.
Big or small a majority of nuclear disasters were caused by human error usually someone ignoring or bypassing multiple safety systems to perform something they shouldn't yet you expect me to believe that somehow the same systems make nuclear energy fully safe and that we should just start shoving these things in the middle of neighborhoods and stuff

The problem isn't that cars are the reason we crash, it's the primates (humans) we choose to put behind the wheel. Even looking away from the road for a second while driving could cause a highway sized disaster

Don't waste your thoughts and happiness on people you claim are inferior.

4. Arrests. Yes, he's a white cop and yes, that's a black man in handcuffs. It doesn't mean the cop is out of line and it doesn't mean the black man is some saint who did no wrong. MOST had prior records - maybe you could make a big deal out of THAT instead. Maybe you could focus on a solution to why so many of those men are a consistent, increasingly v!0lent threat GLOBALLY, and why, no matter their background or upbringing, they still end up mostly jobless neglectful/ deadbeat dads and criminals who t€rr0r!ze their own people, let alone others (they cause more damage and v!0l£nce to their own people now than the klan does). Neglected children often become adult burdons and dangers to the communities/cities they live in, visit, etc. Maybe focus on that instead of taking the focus off the "general" need for law enforcement reform due to corruption that negatively effects us all.

Videogames are a problem. Big time wasters that make people socially awkward. I know so because I used to be addicted. Another clue is people online try way too hard to rationalize their videogame use. If you read this and immediately try and rationalize your game use you probably have a problem.

Obviously the problem is not the videogame itself but the amount of time spent on it. 8+ hours a day is probably problematic, but 2-3 hours? It's just a form of entertainment. And researches show it does not harm the brain in any way and might be even healthy. Again, the problem is to be addicted.
@@Rafael-pi4md first of all, that 2-3 hours on videogames can be better spent pretty much all of the time. Obviously, you're right, but you cannot deny videogames are bigger and more complex than they've ever been. Also, marketing and research has mastered the addictive psychology behind a lot of it. So, ultimately you are more liable to waste more time on a videogame nowadays because they are better than ever. They are simply too FUN, and they demand you invest more time into them by DESIGN. So yea, obviously just be aware. Also, when people are so quick to rationalize and counter argue and downplay an opinion, it's a dead giveaway to their addictions. Again, be aware.
