an anemo character would already want to use vv having to choose between vv or the new natlan one which is currently her only perk is already kind of a disadvantage while sure her being anemo might make her a " better character " i think it would make her a worse character over all ( value wise )
Actually, no, geo is actually very good for this set. Guess what's special about geo and anemo? They HAVE to be the triggering element for reactions, they can't be auras. So if you get a crystallize shard from twirly, you're guaranteed to get the bonus Vs, say you used any other element except anemo, you can't really guarantee that the triggering character is the one holding the set And afaik, there's no limit to the number of elements that can be buffed by this set at once. So if you can trigger pyro, hydro, and electro crystallize at once, you'll get 40% for all three elements + geo Anemo is the other element that this set is actually good for (for the reason above) but the problem is that VV exists. 40% res shred is actually very synergestic with this set, you'd normally want to run VV AND this set on a team rather than just one. (Ofc this alone is better than VV alone) So you'd need to run two anemo characters if you want to run both, and anemo resonance isn't that great for combat (unless you use charged attacks a lot ig), running double geo is way better honestly. Also geo crystallize doesn't eat up auras as easily as swirl can, so it doesn't really ruin reactions very much either, which is also a plus
@@justapasserbyrandomperson9325 geo isn't good for this though. yes, geo and anemo can only be the trigger, but this ignores the fact that you then have to run a geo/anemo character. and even more specifically, it has to be a natlan character that is anemo or geo. no anemo yet, of course, so the only option is kachina. who provides nothing to the team aside from being able to hold the set. if she were anemo, thats CC and swirl which contribute much more. this point about who triggers it is also weird because like... yes you can. if its not something like quicken where youre just trying to hit as fast as possible or freeze where it doesn't matter, most reactions are caused by the person you want to cause it (most notably, vape) there's also not a limit to the number of elements you can swirl. likes of kazuha and sucrose actually make it very easy to do double swirls. most people don't do it though (aside from certain difficulties) because there's no point buffing more than 2 element in a team since only 1 or 2 people are doing the team damage. VV is good, and a great set to use but not so good you can't forgo it ever. especially considering a lot of units have come out/are coming out with shred inherent anyway. niether is that great, but geo resonance is nicer for combat, but it only benefits actual shielders. youre not making enough crystalizes with kachina for it to work with that, and you wouldn't have zhongli there, since youre trying to buff other elements. so youre realy stuck to specific noelle/itto comps crystalize, especially if youre running it for buffing other elements + geo, eating away at aura's is actually a common problem. constantly talked about in the likes of double geo hu tao. also weird to say anemo would eat the aura when the whole point is swirling, which, depending on the team, is literally the fastest way to constantly apply auras (like sunfire) kachina being geo and using this set is literally not a benefit to any team except some specific geo ones.
@@silverYolo VV can only debuff one element afaik, it's in the description iirc Kazuha's dmg buff is the one that can buff multiple elements It looks like you seem to think all anemo units have cc in their kit from your comment? Supports don't usually trigger the main reaction of the team. If you're running a vape team, would you want a support to trigger vaporize and use up the aura? If you're running reverse vape, you'd probably like a hydro or electro or cyro support bc they don't eat up the aura. (Well frozen hides the hydro aura from all elements cryo reacts with so you'd probably only use cryo as a support if your dps is dendro but), and I'm not sure how the damage bonus works for catalyze (Someone test with Kinich to see if both electro and dendro get the bonus on Spread (not Quicken) or only dendro), so in general, only geo and anemo can reliably trigger the set to buff the right elements simply because they can't be aura elements and react with every aura except dendro.
