    People talk about how cooperative the attack is. If he's not he gets broken. If he resists he automatically becomes vulnerable to other techniques.Obviously not a street fight. It's a demonstration but I bet this guy probably has a plan B if things go south. my 2 cents....

    • @asteriskcolon
      @asteriskcolon 4 года назад +1

      Plan B in my experience with Aikido is just to start running
      But if your footwork was good, even if you screw up the joint lock or throw, you're probably in a good position to make a break for it
      That's assuming you're using Aikido the way it was designed to be used, as well

    All martial arts are good. It depends only to the people on how they perform it.
    Aikido is one of the best martial arts.. for self defense only, not to fight anyone who is looking for a fight for nothing. 😉

    These are great techniques, well performed and thought out. Unfortunately they are useless in a street combat situation. I'm Aikidoka and a great believer in the art so I'm not a detractor. Great demo.

    • @alexscott730
      @alexscott730 6 лет назад +1

      Not all martial arts techniques work in the street kid.So in the street,an aikidoka will keep it simple.Nobody wins a "street fight" using complicated bullshit,not even BJJ.

    • @eliolopez3107
      @eliolopez3107 6 лет назад

      That is absolutely correct. People don't fall like that unless they know how to escape and things happen very very fast. But it is a beautiful demonstration, no? The possibilities and the dedication have paid off here. I've always said, the dojo is for theory.

    合気道と空道習ってます。元々、次男が空道習っていて5歳から始めてて、ずっと5年ほど道場見学していたいました。最近、空道と合気道同時進行で習い始めました。私は幼い頃に父親に空手習いたいと言っていましたが、拒絶されました。父親、柔道九州大会2位。空手もボクシングも柔術も滅茶苦茶していて、喧嘩上等で楽しくて繁華街行っていたらしいんです。その割には、私が幼い頃の、空手習いたいって言いましたけどダメだと。自営業の後継である長男が居るので、喧嘩して立ち位置がおかしくなる事を避けたかったみたいです。ただ、結婚した元夫の素人なのに暴力で私を気絶させられたり、夜の道端で3回襲われるハメになったので、両刀習い始めました。両刀とも別の格闘技の習い事を同時に習う事は禁止です。でも、私は生身の人間を攻撃したいのでは無く、あくまでも護身術を学びたいのです。

      I think it either turns into a disillusioned aikido practitioner or an injured opponent ... that is one of the reason why Aikido does not include competition... (morever when you compete you follow the rules and it's best to use technique that have been made for the rules...if you want to win...)

    With all due respect, try that against a BJJ practitioner or any martial artist who offers resistance. It looks great on display, but the effectiveness cannot truly be verified unless Aikido is put under pressure

    • @rodrigogiglio2904
      @rodrigogiglio2904 5 лет назад

      unfortunate I agree that it may not be an effective art in real situations. but it is necessary to emphasize that it is achieved or it is tried to dominate the own body and its movements. at least of that I realized that as a practitioner. regards

      ruclips.net/video/-FLC0sWiobE/видео.html
      Used in Judo sparring
      ruclips.net/video/klkld8C2JNE/видео.html
      There are more of these, but the problem is most Aikidoka never bothered to learn how to fight. Those who know Aikido and how to fight (myself included) know how to apply Aikido techniques against resisting opponents

    • @ビンビンに勃起したちんぽを激しくし
      @ビンビンに勃起したちんぽを激しくし 5 лет назад

      福赤 その通りです。合気道の技には捨身技はありません。
      この動画の道場は、行政や体育協会と連携して安い月謝で運営している一般的な道場と違います。
      師範も他に仕事を持たずに合気道を教える事で生計を立てています。いわゆるプロの合気道家ですね。だから月謝は高いですし、生徒さんを集めなければ収入は増えませんから、RUclipsやSNSを積極的に利用し、派手で格好いい技を沢山アップロードして宣伝をしています。
      このような技を普段からよく教えているわけでは無いはずです。
      というか、合気会に所属している道場が積極的に、合気道にない技を教えていたりしたら、問題になりますしね…
      あくまでも宣伝のための技だと思って下さい。

    Чем отличается айкидо от других единоборств если кратко? В других приемы придумываются под удары, в айкидо удары под приемы.

    • @powerstator
      @powerstator 4 года назад

      нет, просто изначально техника была под меч, поэтому по незнанию складывается такое впечатление. И во всех абсолютно единоборствах во время учебы или показательной практике используется показ приема под удар а не наоборот. Так что не надо писать чушь с высоты диванной табуреточного опыта.

    Hmm what would happen if he tried that on a resisting opponent 🤔?

    • @Bazilisk_AU
      @Bazilisk_AU 5 лет назад

      Jacob Bass
      You would see the technique reverse into the direction of the resisting opponent so the opponent flows ‘into’ the next attack. This is a demo so they’re not gonna be able to easily show it, but in Silat we got this thing called a “Lock Flow” where you’re constantly changing the throw or lock depending on how the opponent starts resisting. In classical “Aiki-Jujitsu” you couldn’t just straight up throw someone like this, you had to use a strike or some other move to ‘stun’ or ‘unbalance’ or ‘launch’ your opponent before you could apply your combo or throw or pin or whatever it is.
      It’s easier to throw someone who is already unbalanced or just got smacked in the face, because they can’t resist fast enough...
      But obviously you can’t do that in a “martial art emphasising peace and harmony” like Aikido

    • @asteriskcolon
      @asteriskcolon 4 года назад

      It's actually sort of a trick question
      It's the nage's job to keep the attacker's momentum going -- the throw works because the attacker never gets the opportunity to "plant" and therefore cannot resist well
      You could argue if the attacker *is able to resist* then it means the Aikidoka already messed up the throw
      Although when it comes to sutemi waza, being able to put the sacrifice throw into the equation could make it much harder to resist the throw (circular motion and full weight of the nage are much harder to resist than linear pushing and pulling, etc)
