  • Pecos (/ˈpeɪkəs/ PAY-kəs) is the largest city in and the county seat of Reeves County, Texas, United States. It is in the valley on the west bank of the Pecos River at the eastern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert, in the Trans-Pecos region of West Texas and just south of New Mexico's border. Its population was 12,916 at the 2020 census. On January 24, 2012, Pecos City appeared on the Forbes 400 as the second-fastest growing small town in the United States. The city is a regional commercial center for ranching, oil and gas production, and agriculture. The city is most recognized for its association with the local cultivation of cantaloupes. Pecos claims to be the site of the world's first rodeo on July 4, 1883.

    Yo I’m from Pecos Tx Born and Raised and still living out here you stayed on the north side of town the whole time on your video you should have hit the other sides of town there really ain’t nothing on the north side

    I grew up in Pecos off of 13th St and Sycamore and 2nd Street related to the Jenkins thanks for posting brother

    Stayed overnight in Pecos, on our way to Carlsbad in 1985. Looks pretty much the same.

    LOl i was talking to an old mexican guy. He was mad about Walmart came in. End of stores on main street. And he was mad about the calitard street gangs the surenos or something stupid like that. Because they threw their shoes all over the highline wires all over town. He said it makes Pecos trashy. 😂 There used to be a really hot chick that worked at the drug store. Be sure to get some tamales at the tamale factory.
