I gotta say- hearing your husband talk transparently about anger and addiction is astounding and so far beyond what I have grown up seeing men, especially Southern men, willing to be vulnerable about. Y'all are great and I wish you nothing but better bests.

This video brought tears to my eyes! I fell into my addiction with meth at 18 and I tried so many times to get clean. Getting sober for 2-3 months was easy but staying sober was so hard. It broke me. My friend had to hold me down and pour water down my throat and force me to eat in the middle of me screaming because my body hurt so bad. My eyes were rolling in the back of my head. I couldn’t stand up because my feet had just stopped working. And I didn’t know wtf was really even going on. I had just gone through a horrible break up, lost everything, and I relapsed worse than I ever had before and I wouldn’t eat or drink for almost a week at that point. After that I finally got clean. I was clean from February-May. I thought I was doing a good deed and helping a “friend” go get a car and ended up relapsing because she told me she had it on her. I was so ashamed of myself for relapsing that I remember sitting in my car alone screaming, and crying and I told god “I give you 1 month to show me a reason why I shouldn’t end it all. My family is done with me because of my addiction. I keep failing myself. I don’t have any real friends. Show me a reason why I shouldn’t end it.” 2 days before the day that I had planned to end it on, I found out I was pregnant. Now I’m 28 weeks with a precious baby girl. Despite being told my whole life by doctors I’d never have a baby. I am now 7 months sober. And Thriving.

I am 132 days sober from alcohol but now I have an eating disorder, I’m 88 lbs I used to be 230lbs back when I drank and I try so hard. To eat and I actually have a binge addiction so it’s hard I’m overwhelmed and right now it’s mainly overthinking. It sucks. My brain doesn’t turn off. It’s so hard when bc even typing this I don’t feel mentally here. But I’m going to Florida to go get help but overthinking that as well. My family supports me but it’s hard to be around them. And hearing the same thing over and over again. Like I try to make sure I get all the nutrition and everything it’s just so hard when I’m overthinking every single thing.

Its so hard to come out of the addiction lifestyle other than just the addiction. You have to completely change your life. People, places, even music. You have to rewire your entire Brain. Drug addiction it’s the closet thing to hell on earth, it’s a demon that doesn’t want to let you go. Congratulations on your sobriety. And it’s important for anyone reading to understand that addiction could happen to anyone one bad choice and it could be us. So don’t judge or laugh or mock. And lend a hand help people have empathy for them

I have struggled with addiction & substance abuse myself, but being sober now I still deal with family members doing the same. I have had a huge urge recently to speak on it so maybe I can help others who go through both. There are not enough people out there speaking on either. But, the more people do, the more it urges others to do so. Your comment just fueled that even more for me & I love seeing success stories. It always makes me so proud to see because not many people truly understand how difficult it is to live in active addiction & recovery, but also to be that family member to one who does. You’re all so awesome for being there & supporting your loved ones. 💜

I love hearing y’all talk about the physical and mental tear of addiction. I’m only five days clean and if I didn’t get clean from alcohol and bars. I’d never realize that alcohol caused the insecuirties to start back in the summer and caused me to lash out and be angry with the ones who loved me. I was awful to my significant other and ended up cheating on him blacked out and I continued to use after I did bc I was more insecure w myself after the fact. Today, I am glad I am sober. Even if it’s a small change for a few days. I feel a lot better being able to make conscious clear decisions instead of being manipulated. And not able to make decisions well. It’s gonna take time but I’m gonna be able to forgive myself one day through getting sober from alcohol. Hopefully.

Love seeing y'all be so raw and vulnerable. I see the silly side on tik tok etc.. but I love seeing the Tasia as a mother and a wife. Good stuff! Keep up the good fight. Those babies need you both. 🥰

Wow since you’re husband isn’t on your podcast or tik tok I don’t know why I thought he would be quiet and shy but he has a lot to say and he seems so kind and loving. So happy for you you guys seem so good for each other very loving and gentle ❤️

I’ve been watching you since vine and I just wanted to say that I love these videos because I’ve always wanted to just be your friend and it feels like I’m right there with you haha and that’s creepy but you’ve been one of the only people on social media that I feel like I could be genuine friends with. I keep up with your family and I think you guys are so awesome. Praying for you and your amazing testimony’s as well! 🤍🤍

You can definitely see that you guys we’re made for each other. Your stories and you guys as individuals are so much alike! But I would love to see you guys do a cooking video together or something creative with greenly😌❤️

When you said “they like him more than they like me” I felt that in my soul. Every time my mom sees my husband she is bragging on him. I love it though :)
