I’m new to tufting, but not new to tufting videos especially carving ones. NO ONE, I mean noooooo one has explained it so clearly, with helpful repetition. Thank you immensely, I’ll be referencing this video lots and feel way more confident about carving
I have to agree... all the videos I've watched You are THE ONLY one that has given this much detail and taken so much time to explain things so well.. Thank you for doing that.
Thank you so much for this detailed video on carving, I have been so intimidated by it. The only two rugs I have tufted ive been afraid to carve them. Seriously yes with the mask i wear one when tufting, because if i dont it makes my throat hurt for like a week.
I've been soo afraid to do this part of the process and I feel so much more confident now..I IMMEDIATELY subscribed..she is now my ne rug tufting Sensei!!!!!!
Thank you so much.Ive literally been carving all wrong and wondering y they wouldn’t turn out like this.. You’ve explained it so well compared to others I’ve watched.
Carving seems kind of nerve wracking from the perspective of someone who's never done it. I cut my own hair and buzz most of it off for sensory reasons, so if I mess up my hair I don't really care, plus it grows back, but with a rug, it isn't going to grow back. That would be the hardest thing to get over, I think.
@@MonaLyssa33 yeah that’s definitely someone I was scared of when I started carving. I think starting small helps & growing confidence with each rug. While also knowing mistakes will happen! 💕

Do you go all the way down to the tufting rug with the edge of the clippers?
Omg you should sell pdf's or templates so others can recreate your masterpieces
Are you going to carve the noodles that loop so that it shows how they go over each other?
@@kaskus7147 oooo I ended up not doing that but that would’ve been cool to do!
@@ArtsyMadwoman I think it turned out really cool. You are doing great work.
Is it harmful if you don’t wear a mask

With every new craft I try, I do a small, fun sample that I can throw away without regret if it comes out badly.

Hello, just want to add that is is for a very 3D look and will not suit all designs. It is a great tutorial though big ups!
