- For this abstract acrylic painting I'm reusing a canvas. The background was already dry and it was harder to let the acrylics flow. Since I'm reusing the canvas I didn't feel any pressure to make a 'perfect' painting, so I allowed myself to take some more risks and use different mediums, such as the spraypaint and watercolor pencil. And wow did this painting turn out amazing!

Love this so much! The squirted white at the bottom and the spray paint just took this series to a whole new level!! I also think the idea to soften the paint pen was spot on.

I watched this twice! As this painting progressed, my brain starting smiling, then my heart! This particular painting looks like my hosta patch!!!! As simple and pure as those plants are, they show the complex simplicity of nature, and always make me smile. My cat enjoys them too! He likes to lay beside them and watch the hummingbirds ...and no, he doesn't try to bother them...he likes watching them tho.
