A great video. Your presentation was excellent, the pictures good and scenes of the land were beautiful. I hope you follow a similar style in your future videos. Goodbye from an American of English descent.
Thanks for this. Found by fortuitous accident on RUclips and really enjoyed it. I haven't been to Kettlethorpe and that general area for years, and it was great to see it all again. Such a lovely day, too, showing West Lindsey countryside at its best. Thanks again!
That sort of general area will be featured again soon. The Newark and Sherwood series is heading for the likes of North Clifton, South Clifton, Harby, Thorney, Wigsley etc during April and May
A great village. The foot clinic was a post office. I remember helping the post office owner convert part of that building to a flat/accommodation for his mother in law when I was a teenage making a bit of cash. think they were called Shaun & Julie.
Lovely video as usual. I had a small question - Would you ever visit any cities? I know there are plenty of videos showcasing cities but since your presentation is unique, it would be great to see a city in the UK from your perspective. P.S. First comment :)
Maybe one day, but the channel is of course village-centric. Having said that, there are a couple of cities which are parished, so they'll get a video. Lichfield and Ripon for example fall into that category :D
Great video if you haven’t filmed Fenton yet knock on my door for a free copy of a book we compiled via lottery funding which covers some of the history of the villages near The Trent (called Trentside Memories).

More info about what is left or not of the manor Katherine Swynford lived in.
