I feel like cybex is more of a status symbol than functional. They are beautiful, but it seems that every item has another brand with a better option on the market. Like the uppababy vista vs. the gazelle. Of course if someone is getting the e-Priam this is a more affordable option than other electronic strollers.
In my country I was able to buy a new ePriam chassis (2021 version) for only $850 and a new stroller textile for another $150. I think it's a great deal for a stroller like this, but I would never have paid more than $2000 for it
When reviewing the cot, plz take in consideration that it now attaches to a car seat adapters. I find that awesome since i constantly had to take them off and put them on with my model. This way, they are just on and a cot sits higher. Still love my 2019model, but that was extra work they now took away. You kinda want to move quickly with a baby so everything counts, especially if you have to keep an eye on another child at the same time 😅
The priam will work fine for suburban conditions if you don't live somewhere really rough and rural. The size and weight are a little unpleasant for a lot in and out of the car though, in my opinion.
Take a look at the Kinderkraft Nea, it is a cheaper stroller but was the winner of the German "Stiftung Warentest" (a German institution testing goods on functionality and quality) stroller test in 2023. Personally I decided on the Priam due to its 2 wheel mode, but this was an alternative I considered, specially because of it's presumable child comfort.
El Priam tiene un problema con el manillar y es que se deshace la polipiel. Aún no me he decidido por ningún stroller porque tengo el problema de que vivo en las montañas y uso el coche todo el tiempo
I love the priam we have the bugaboo donkey 5 if we have more stuff to carry like going to supermarket and both children and we have the priam just for taking the new born walking and I love it so much. The priam is nice light, I can put my snogga and sun/ rain cover down and it's seems like Really confortibal for the new born baby. I think for parents they just have 1 stroller and they need the stroller also for doing more like off round supermarket or what ever this is nothing for I would Say the priam is more like the caprio of the buggys. It's nice feeling to use it but not the most functional stroller
I must admit that I have the priam since 3 years just because of its beauty. Cybex changed our chassis already 7 (!!) times because it is so fragile. According to our retailer, no exception. And we only use it for walks in the city, I take care of it as it was made of glass, and still is starts making strange noises and gets loose so fast, it’s annoying. I have had about 50 different strollers in the past (addicted definitely 🥲) none of it was so expensive compared to the bad quality. Suspension is a joke for this stroller. I wouldn’t recommend anyone this stroller who is not willing to pay that much money for a stroller that is so low in quality, suspension, all terrain usw and so so on, just because it’s beautiful. You need to be crazy for beautiful strollers like me to be willing to accept all these disadvantages
I have to add to my comment that we first had the normal Priam, that was much worse in quality regarding the chassis than the E Priam that I bought 1,5 years later, after being sick of claiming the chassis so often. So now we have the E Priam 4, I have the feeling that the E Priam chassis is a bit more sturdy. Cybex also changed the chassis for our E Priam two times, and within warranty they are very accommodating. But this is also why I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying it second hand, like many manufacturers, Cybex won’t give warranty for second hand buyers. I am from Germany, we live near Bayreuth where Cybex is located. Many parents here have the priam, so I „hear“ a lot of priams walking by. Hear, because most priam chassis make this terrible squeaking noise, and some parents seem to just not care 🙈 I also know from someone working in this business, that the problem with the priam chassis are the joints, they need to be lubricated constantly, the problem is, even before the stroller is sold by the retailer, the time the chassis is stored is to long, the lubricant that is already in the joints gets dry, but can’t be removed anymore. That explains why I got 2 chassis in the past, brand new from Cybex, that made that noise right from the start. I do lubricate our E priam chassis constantly, it won’t prevent the chassis from getting loose that is definitely the bigger problem at the end. But helps a little bit against that annoying voice. You really need to lubricate the joints every month or so, much more than in other strollers.

Would love to see a comparison with the Fox 5!
I don’t think they are comparable since fox 5 should be all terrain and priam really isn’t
@@LondonFan2010 they do have an overlap though, mainly regarding city use with minimal car commute.
We are very satisfied with our 3year old epriam

What are the other electronic strollers?

Is there any other stroller on the market with true flat lie sitting (like Priam) and wheels good for suburbs? Unfortunately Fox 5 has bucket seat :(
The priam will work fine for suburban conditions if you don't live somewhere really rough and rural. The size and weight are a little unpleasant for a lot in and out of the car though, in my opinion.
The Mamas and Papas Ocarro does, it's nice, handles gravel or grass well and folds small for its size but is very heavy at 13kg!
So there is no good competitor for Priam with full flat sitting 😅
Depending on where you are, Emmaljunga has a lie flat option, they have a new line out, SENTO.
