I agree. I have a 68 Deluxe Reverb and I'd choose to play the Princeton most of the time. Thanks for your comment and for watching.

Great audio recording on your videos. It makes a hugh different in reproducing the amp's true tone. Some videos, I like but can't rely on accurate tonal qualities, making buying decisions difficult.

Well this morning Sweetwater dropped the price of this amp by$100 so I ordered one. I wasnt sure if a 12 watt or 15 watt, not sure which it is, would be enough for a 12" speaker, but yours sounds great, so I got one on the way. And even though I was never a tweed guy,as I grew up with the 68 and newer silver face amps and later got to use some of the blackface stuff, I then realizeed how great the BF amps are, and now to get to tolex covering of the tweed...seems like a great mix to me. Thanks for your videos.

@@davidmurphey9514 Just to let ya know, the delivery from Sweetwater came today, boxed and packed in a way that the amp could not be damaged if dropped from an airplane, but you were right, this thing is amazing. I guess because of the 12" speaker there is alot of bass even at very low volume. Volume at 2.5 to 3, bass all the way down and treble at 10, strat in bridge, tones 10, volume on guitar at 10...reverb at 4...super great sound,,,quite surfy sounding. Your vids made me think I needed this amp, and you were right.

@@Rainy78 No problems with this amp. I have played many Fender amps down thru the years, but this is the best Ive ever played. And dont let 15 amps fool ya, 15 watts is ROCKIN power.

I just bought the guitar center Princeton limited, but I got to play some tone masters. Im a pretty big fan of solid state amps and the attenuator feature is the best. you can run direct into your User Interface and its just the better choice if you only have one amp. The only reason I didn't choose a tone master deluxe reverb is cause of my stupid dedication to having used a Princeton. I really don't like the matinence of tubes but it sounds so good

What is it that causes the bright cap to be bypassed? Is it the volume on the amp, or the gain in the input signa (i.e. volume on guitar) l? I’ve noticed that at volume 6 on this amp, the EQ changes quite a bit, and the signal gets compressed as well.
Would rolling off the volume in the guitar preserve the EQ of the amp at volume 6? In my experience it seems to do so, but wanted to ask you as well.

To answer your first question I don't know for certain. I will find out. I believe I'm certain but I'd rather not make the guess. There's truly not much compression at louder volumes that's actually the camera and the boom mic. You are correct about the eq change due to the higher volumes. All settings were at 1. Adjust your eq then when you bypass the bright capacitor you'll be impressed by the tones. I've noticed the bypass actually occurs just before 5 on the volume. I'll get the answer to your 1st question. Thank you for your questions and thank you for watching

Hey man, thanks for the commitment! But no worries! Whatever the answer is I think it’ll still be subject to anyone’s opinion :) what do you think the answer is? Don’t worry about researching it, don’t want to spend your time on that :)

@@geralr it's a good question. This time of year it's difficult to get the right person at Fender. However, I have other connections. It's not time consuming.
