I mostly sit down, but am trying to stand up more, but it is much harder. Sitting really uses the glutes, I don't like the feeling of lactic acid in my thighs. Following Emily Horridges tips for position etc.
Oh No! Definitely stand up on rougher trails! It's a real game-changer once you've got the position right! 😎 My husband was only doing it for a laugh, and you can see just how badly he gets bucked, just going over little rollers! One of the best explainer series I've seen is from Ben Cathro / Pinkbike. Ignore the fact that he's basically an ex pro. His explanations make a lot of sense!
