Of course, I'm in the states...but I know I would love Glastonbury. It's my kind of shopping. I love used books and am particularly intrigued about the Magical Use of Thought Forms. Loved all your finds. I could spend hours in Courtyard Books alone, I bet. I do have a shop a couple of hours away that has lots of lovely things you'd like. Incense, books, candles, all manner of crystals, statues, clothes, tarot, on and on. You would be fun to shop with. I bet we'd have some good conversations. Your videos get better and better. I enjoy them so much. So glad you are recovering from your hospital stay. Much love.
I'm kind of rubbish at shopping, really. I don't enjoy shopping in most of our towns and cities but Glastonbury and Avebury are the exception! I'm rubbish because I get so light headed standing up all the time, but quite a lot of bookshops have seats, so they're the easiest to navigate. I think we'd have a blast. Then we'd head over to a fantastic cafe for some healthy grub. Wishing you a fab weekend!! :)
Just found your channel. Ive never been to Glastonbury. Would love to go. That room is beautiful. I love places with some history. Thank you for sharing your trip there with us.😊
Welcome to the channel! There are more videos coming; since I started my Patreon I've had to find a new work flow. Thank you so much for watching! Love and blessings. xxx
I mostly buy second hand books as , like you I think we all need to stop buying so much. I donate to charity shops all the time and try to buy from them as much as I can. I found a beautiful candle in one last year. I had been watching videos on Glastonbury and thinking how I would love to visit. It wasnt until I got the candle home that I realised it was from Glastonbury. I was so pleased that I found it.
Awwww that's amazing! You can't miss Courtyard Books; it's at the bottom of the High Street on the right hand side as you look up it. There's another good bookstore on the left and up slightly. The charity shops are worth checking out, too, as sometimes you'll find some gooduns in there. Update me on your trip! Wishing you the best time! :) xx
I go to Glastonbury once a month and there are so many back street wonders.. I like the crown the next pub down…..You have to ask for a fairy parking space, I’ve never paid to park in 22yrs…..it’s part of my time for me and I’m not too far away……🍄🍄
I used to go as often as I lived much closer and I miss it so much. The fairies have obviously got your back!! :) I do that sometimes, put it out to the Universe that we need a space and it usually works! I hope you enjoy your next trip there - you're right, there are so many back street wonders to find there. xxx
5:45am..you woke up then...wow...never been to Glastonbury...yet...hopefully, after some personal business is done...it's on my list of places to go to...nice video..I saw this video on May 2...(I'm doing okay today...in case you wanted to know)💜
It's fair to say that early mornings and late nights are not good for me! Especially when I'm already exhausted! But it was worth it, and I felt much better by the afternoon. I really hope you manage to get there someday Daniel, you will love it. :)
I find I do the same with books. I’m reading one at the min that I picked up in a thrift store as I forgot to take a book with me while staying at friends place recently. So I started reading that and It’s so good that I’m continuing to read it first before finishing off the other one I was reading at home 😬Lol That perfume sounds right up my Scorpio Morgan Le Fay alley 😉 I agree re-stuff and I usually don’t buy crystals unless they’re secondhand. I stopped buying them many years ago once I was educated on them. Glastonbury is where my heart belongs (even though I’ve never been OS) My DNA is 81% Celtic 💚
Absolutely LOVE thrift store book purchases because I spend a huge amount of time wondering who owned the book before me - do you do that, too!? What an absolute gift that it turned out to be a corker!! I hope that you make it to Glastonbury someday, I have full confidence that you would absolutely adore it. :) xx
@@the_cemetery_witch Yes 🙌 I wonder who’s read the very pages of the book before me. Re-Glastonbury, i doubt I’ll get there in this lifetime but maybe the next one 😉
@@gramarye_cottage that's such a nice feeling. Plus, it's always better to get a second hand copy than have more trees chopped! You'll get there, this lifetime or next! ❤xx
Did I see you in Glastonbury for Beltane? I wanted to come and say hello but walking up the hill was hard work 😂 I didn’t see you again in the field. It was a beautiful experience!
Yes! That was me! I don't know if you noticed me walking with a staff? I was struggling myself to get up the hill as I had started to seize up. We did go up to Bushy Coombe but I have to say that we couldn't see much from where we were and didn't stay up there too long. I'm so glad you had a wonderful time, next time say hi and we can struggle up the hill together! Haha! :) xx
I agree about secondhand books-I try to buy that way if I can. I’ll be curious to hear how you end up liking the ones you picked up. I have to admit I had no idea what a Tor is and had to look it up. We don’t really have them here where I live. It sounds like Glastonbury is very interesting place and I’d loved to visit it if I ever make my way across the pond. I also may check out the incense you bought, as well as the books, I’d it caught your attention that well. 😊 Glad you are recovering well after your procedure, and I hope your reading time continues get easier and easier for you! 💜
I guess a Tor is actually a rock cluster or heap... Glastonbury Tor is more of a hill, but it's named that nonetheless! I hope you make it across the pond, and I'm sure Glastonbury will still be there in all its glory if/when you do! It hasn't changed much in all the time I've been visiting (20+ years), so I reckon it's totally within the realm of possibility for you to have this experience. Wishing you a lovely weekend ahead! :)
I love Glastonbury could never spend enough time there, I;m usually there 2 ir 3 nights then on my way home realise all the things I missed. Did you call into the coven shop? they've just moved to the top of the highstreet opposite the wonky broomstick.
Yes, we've been there a couple of times now, it's really lovely, and I especially like the green they've chosen to paint on their walls! I would love to have 3 nights in Glastonbury and just take it all in like you do. :)
Really enjoyed your video. Thank you. This may be a stupid question but do you cleanse your second hand witchcraft books? I have been told on a number of occasions to cleanse tarot and oracle decks because of their sacred nature. I tend to regard my books in a similar manner. So should I cleanse them to remove the previous owner energy from them? 💚
Hello! Thank you so much for watching and for your brilliant question. I think you should cleanse them if you feel they should be cleansed. Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. Personally I don't cleanse second hand Witchcraft books. Even though they are tools, I don't see them in the same way as I'd see a crystal ball or an athame, which I would definitely cleanse before using. I also think that the right books with the right energies will come my way... But it's all a matter of personal choice, really. In an ideal world, you'd cleanse any second hand item that comes into your home - witchy or otherwise - but I don't anymore, unless I feel vibes, in which case I head it off at the bat and don't tend to purchase it in the first place. I hope that helps!
I've been reading "the witches guide to manifestation" by Mystic Dylan. I haven't opened it for about a week but have been making my way throught it. If I'm having trouble concentrating I just put it away and leave it for a day or so. Last week was a write off for me. In March I bought "the book of answers" carol bolt, the one you had in your Instagram. I had ordered it and it came in a lot earlier than expected!
Ahhhh you bought The Book of Answers - amazing! I love that book SO much. It's a lot of fun but clearly can be used as a divinatory tool. I haven't heard of the book you mention, but will look it up. I hope you're having a better week - I think it's good that you just go with the flow. It's all we can do sometimes.
@@the_cemetery_witch I'm happy with the book of answers! I've used it and the answers were awesome! So glad I saw your IG reel on it! Trying to go with the flow, after both surgeries last month I had a hard time (mainly with the second surgery) so just to sit and read was nearly impossible for me due to pain.

I love secondhand books, I’m hoping to go to Glastonbury (my first time) in June, so will definitely seek out the bookstore you mentioned 📚

That was the original Dawn print! Well spotted!

Oh, wow! I hope you had a safe journey and are having (had?) fun! Let us know about your trip and what you got up to! Blessings, Wren. x
Another lovely video, Wren. Please rest and take care of yourself. Sending much love ❤
Thank you so much, Daniela, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Have a lovely weekend! :)
So many neat shops!! Great video Wren! ❤ ✨️
Honestly, I could spend FOREVER walking around there! :)
oh dang! I have been itching to get back down for ages
Ahhh maybe we could lift share some time. :)
