Probably just pitched it down 3-4 semitones. NERD ALERT!!!!
You'd hear ghosting artifacts if stretched to a specific bpm, pitching down doesn't. It usually reduces the sample rate taking away more of the high end treble and leaving a more bass prominent rendition which is usually off key by -30 or so cent because the circle of fifths isn't exact. Also making it harder to detect by the RUclips copyright bots.
TLDR it's just a fun away to to enjoy the song differently. But if you have a DAW/Audacity or something similar a good way to past the time.
