The D-15m’s high end is decent for a mahogany guitar, though it’s all about mid-range with this one. His strings might have something to do with it as well.

@@Auteckre yeah, I own one myself... Looking at the mic placement I'm guessing it's lacking warmth due to it being more up the neck.
