And suddenly a 'like' from the band on a comment i made 8 years ago! :) In the meanwhile; i have visited Loch Lomond myself some years ago, at Balloch. I went to the shore and sang this song with all my power. It was magical!!!
Im first arab from far WHOt visitS loch Lomond:) I like Scotland I wish I would get up to there another time and I like Ireland the music is magnificiant:)

Live kommt das Lied noch viel besser an ... Allein die Nachricht die sie vermitteln wollen, versteht man dann einfach besser, auf der emotionsebene... ich find das Lied einfach fantastisch ... genial! ^_^
@plague2003 Its a very old song. a scotsman wrote it in an english prison. If you hear the music, it's alomst the same melody as "red is the rose". If I can play it on mij bagpipe, i uploaded on youtube.
this was brilliant, i just cant stop replaying it... I have seen a lot of your videos here, and i wonder where i can get sheet music for this, and lyrics for your songs? mostly for flute or ukulele, but any sheet music will do, I'll just transpose it...
