    A great session & some quality fish, thanks for the vid. Monster Bullrout, have caught many dozens of them prawning in Lake Macquarie NSW but none over 7 cm. We can prawn with a 20 foot wide hand haul net but is illegal to use a cast net, go figure. My old man was stung once worst thing ever he reckoned.

    Another enjoyable video. Who cares if you eat the bait...it's all so fresh! Have you ever tried eating bullrout which apparently are edible but just bone ugly? I've seen stonefish being prepared (carefully) in Asian markets, but it's just so unappealing!

    • @returnoutdoors2210

      Very fortunate to live in Townsville, North Queensland. The brilliant fishing, beautiful scenery and plenty of sunny days spoil all who visit the region. Make sure you watch the next episode as I find a solution to the landing net being too small! 👍

    That’s a successful days hunting. How do those blue salmon go on the plate? I’ve read they can have worms in their belly quite often. Another top vid ✌️👍

    • @returnoutdoors2210
      @returnoutdoors2210  Год назад +3

      Blue salmon occasionally do have a worm that is through the flesh of the fish. From my experience if one fish from a school has worms then the all usually carry it. This particular fish was clean. The worm is harmless to eat once the fish is cooked. A lot of the fish are prepared and cooked with the worm going unnoticed! Eaten fresh I think Blue Salmon are quite good eating. Thanks for your comment!
