I agree. It's horrendously undervalued. I can see why some would prefer the first one but I strongly disagree with the idea that the third film is better than this one!
The third film is great up until u realise the villains rwal plam,to rob the gold reserve,lost intrest its great until then. Its like he dont really wanna kill mcClain for killing his brother its like oh well I use him as a pawn if he dies ok goid. 2 for me my fave but obviously the first I love too,its the daddy.lol
@@rosemaryfarell5264 Agreed, plus John and Holly separating for no reason! And all Simon really wants is to steal gold. Hans wanted to rob the vault yes, but he was going to kill all those hostages and Colonel Stuart was the most dangerous villain in the series.
The only issue I had with this movie is when the crashed the British Airways plane, the fuel tanks were empty.. So what caused it to exploded ?? Great movie though !! I Love It !!!

@@roquefortfiles Not in my opinion, it's second best DH film. Almost as good as first one. Third was okay, rest is trash. Movie isn't detemined by just "the villain" ffs... besides, the villain did okay. He was a military type, military trained people act and talk different than Hans Gruber.

I totally agree! And I am Finnish like the director. But still, the first and the second are the best!
It is my favorite besides the original and can watch the first two over and over especially the 2nd. I like the 3rd to wasn’t a fan of 4th or 5th

Stupid film. Ridiculous ending. The villain was trying way too hard. The first film is a classic.
4th and 5th films were worse. The first 3 were the best.

@@shredd5705 Hans Gruber was a cool villain. Alan Rickman made it his own. This guy in Die Hard 2 had no magic. Die Hard 2 is a terrible film.

2 sucked ass! I like to think of "with a vengeance" as The direct sequel to the first.And basically block out the others.There all trash!
