I'm like you love the r41 but more a head shaver for me. The stainless steel version would be on my wish list but l would prefer a standard version instead of the grande. I'm thinking alot about the flatboy and am tempted but not certain it would suit my head shaving routine(daily).
Hello Graham. I've used the standard Razorine for a dome shave. Only required one pass and job done! The Flatboy is a lot smoother and safer than the second generation Razorine so it would make for a nice dome shaver. But I wouldn't like to use the R41 for a head shave! No way 😶🌫️

Thank you for your kind words Johan. Don't be put off. I often have outbreaks of spots on my face. My latest three videos show me shaving with a large spot on my chin. Just shave around your mole. Remove the lather from the mole and you will easily avoid it. Check out Sig Solo on RUclips. He has a large mole near his mouth.

I have the gillette king c safety razor and the merkur 34c but they dont give me a nice close shave. I bought the leaf razor i find it more close than the other too. I got gillette king c blades,astra,Dorco,feather and Derby extra. I dont know if im doing it the right way shaving or is the blades. I need some tips of you about the one i have .are they good for head and face. And how should i shave to do it the right way. Is this razor you are using today good for me . Hello Julio. The Leaf is my favourite head shaver. You're using some mild blades there. Try the Leaf with Nacet blades. You need the sharpest blades possible for head shaving. The 34C and KCG are very mild razors. Again you need the sharpest blades to compensate for the mild razors. Nacets, Feather, Permasharps. But I would suggest a move to a more efficient razor! The Rockwell 6S or 6C would be a very wise choice. Six razors in one! The Muhle R41 is probably one of the most efficient razors in the world. Not advisable for beginners to wet shaving, but it's easily mastered in time! Use a good lather. Don't use canned foams or gels. Hold the razor at 30° to the skin. Don't used any pressure, just let the weight of the razor do the work for you. Take three passes. With them grain, across the grain then against the grain. Take your time dont rush. Thank i just bought the rockwell 6c razor and a 100 pack of nacet blades. I could use the leaf for the head and the rockwell 6c for the face. Or either one for both. I bought too a pre shave soap a shave soap and a alum bloc.

My Daily driver- with the Alpha bravo handle. I just couldn't get a grip on the original handle. I wonder how it compares to the new RR 95 OC.
I also use the Outlaw Handle with my alloy R41. It's a goodbye pairing. The Muhle Handle is a tad slippery. That would be a good comparison 👍
