What's funny is people are completely missing the point. Even IF the guy was lying and is not challenger, he was still in a 500LP master's game, and managed to win and get honors. What more do people want. "Wait, the dude won vs the 0.59% of the player base, but nah, my silver ass can clearly see he's not challenger". Get out of here. Well the "prove a point" thing was just random and irrelevant. I like it, it was a fun video, but it doesn't prove anything when the guy clearly got carried. It would also be stupid to claim the strategy is bad by using as evidence some guy who probably doesn't even play Sion.

I had some rando in one of my ranked lobbies try this strat a while back while duo Queuing with a friend. my team was ready to flame him for the pick but I recognized he was just trying your strat and rolled with it. and it worked quite well.
This was a great video. Always loved spectating games, and this feels like the next level of that. And the guy was so wholesome too, great combo 👍 Hope there can be more like this

I'm surely not one to talk, but it's really difficult to play a role you don't main, with a character you might not play, while following a gameplay strategy that you haven't tried before just because someone randomly hired you to do so. Also, playing someone else's style requires to suppress a big chunk of muscle memory. Not to mention the input lag of following someone's directions. Ever heard of the game *Lifeline for the PS2* ? This match pretty much explains the struggles one finds in that game. Following voice commands instead of doing things your own way is much more difficult than people might think.
only thing with coaching these players is their ego is too big that they don’t just listen. you’re paying him to try out your idea. it’s like me ordering food at a restaurant but the chef says “nahhh, let me do my thing”

League has the biggest "meta" problem - you can't play champions on weird roles or with a weird build - even if it works - as long as they are not "developed" on korean server... The support is the team's support - not the ADCs babysitter.
You used to be able to do that a lot better, but riot is really doing their best into forcing people into one playstyle. Jungle camps giving like no exp and farm if you don't have the jungle items, minions giving almost no exp if you DO have the jungle item, gold from minions going down to 4 gold per if you clear more than a single wave in like 10 minutes if you have a support item etc.
The #1 punish for this pick, after going against it, is to take advantage of the hyper roaming style and set up bot lane so that your opponent must choose either normal death or starvation death. This will force the hyper roamer to either stay in lane to make their adc viable or "raidBoss" someone else (generally their jungler). If the opposing adc is still farming, then you've failed to punish them.
I mean, I think everyone is being really harsh on him unfairly. He is a Challenger, he obviously knows what he's doing, this strategy is just so far off the meta and norm that it is definitely very hard for him to follow and to fight his autopilot that admittedly brought him to challenger in the first place.
Can't wait to see Sion support with smite in my soloq games, super excited for this. I'm already having so much fun with Baus wannabes playing inting sion top in my teams.

I think this strategy could work with temo. It would be a more aggressive style, but it actually synergies with Temo quite well. Here’s are my arguments for Temo. Temo has a really healthy clear making a potential collapse even while doing camps not that bad. Second temo can use stealth to get away or set up an ambush. Think get level 2 from smiting blue. Then auto attacking a viago to death with blinding dart. 3. Temo thrives when the enemy is forced to confronting him. This synergies with the mindset of this playstyle of keeping the juggler outside of their own jungle. 4. Temo can pass between towers without getting agroed so moving around the enemy jungle is really easy. 5. Temo shrooms give the vision not having a support item provides 6. Even when behind temo can give value threw split pushing. 7. If for whatever reason you can’t play agro in the enemy jungle (maybe it’s a mord jungle) temo can be played as a normal support anyways. 8. Temo when he gets level 6 could help prevent dives by giving the adc shrooms to play around. The way I picture this style is very kill hungry your goal is to kill the enemy jungler to absolutely suffocate them out of their own jungle. If you get collapsed on you use ghost or flash to hide in bushes and waste their time. Wait in a spot for the enemy jungler to use all their spells on a camp then jumping them. If they are dead or you can’t stop them from farming you take their camps with your very healthy clear so even if you get collapsed on your healthy and ready to run away. I think the two main rune pages I would go for are dark harvest and PTA. It’s a damage support suits this best not to mention temo isn’t that great with other rune pages anyways. I would go dark harvest with ghost in a match ups you don’t have kill threat or it’s too easy. PTA and flash if you think you have chase potential. Temo is viable as both a support and jungler so I really think this idea has a shot at working
I disagree pretty hard here, the two champions I have seen this strategy work on are Nunu and Sion, low economy tank champions that can kill camps extremely quickly. Teemo is virtually useless when you are behind in gold/xp since so much of his usefulness depends on being a threat to the enemy, in solo lanes/jungle he maxes E in order to be a threat and clear jungle efficiently and as support he maxes Q because stopping enemy adc damage output is the best way to threaten them. Sure he could do some invis gimmicks but it is really hard to actually do that kind of steal without wasting quite a bit of time (I myself have tried quite a bit and even if you are successful there are better ways of using time)
