@@ВераУгринович Спасибо большое!❤️❤️❤️Я не мастер))) именно потому, что мне хочется попробовать разное, не достигаю мастерства ни в чем определенном. Зато так интереснее)))
You did a great seat cushion!! 🎉 😊 To begin with, I didn't like the colours, or understand why you wer😊e using foam in each pocket, but when I realised that you were making it for a seat cushion, I thought it was a great idea to use the foam inserts, and to make individual pocket squares .... and then when I saw the seat that you had made it for, I thought the type of fabric, and the colours & the embroidery were all just PERFECT for your chair! 😮 😊 ..❤v🎉!! The embroidery also looked wonderful and gave it a very special appearance! 👍⚘ I have one suggestion for you though ... and I am going to explain it in a very simple way, not because I don't think that you are a child, but because I don't know if my English will easily and clearly translate from my English to your Russian. I'm Australian 🇦🇺. 😊 I'm only guessing that you are Russian because you have mentioned rubles, but please don't be offended if you are from another country that also uses rubles and I don't know if other countries also use rubles. I haven't been fortunate enough to visit any of the Eastern Block countries, although I'd love to as I really admire the art and culture of all of these countries, and of course, the music also! 😊 Maybe I will be fortunate enough to be able to visit in my next life! 😊 I hope that wherever you are, that you are safe, and that this horrible war will be over very soon and all women, no matter where they live, will very soon be able to live in peace and harmony with each other so that all women can once again, soon enjoy their families and their interests, whatever they may be. It's so terribly sad to see the needless loss of lives and all of the destruction that male leaders cause when they decide to take their countries to war.😢 I'm sure that if more women ruled the world we wouldn't have all these wars, because we women just want to raise our families and live in peaceful harmony with one another. 🙏 I hope that you will accept my following very simple suggestion realising that it is meant in friendship from one sewer to another. 😊 I also hope that the translation from English to Russian is clear. I know what a huge difference this makes to any sewing project. 🎉 IRONING every time you sew a new thread into a piece of fabric, is like 'marrying' the new threads into the threads of the fabric. 😮 😊 When you have embroidered your squares, Iron the square to get the most professional finish to your embroidery. Ironing every single time you introduce a thread into a piece of fabric (which is just several threads woven together), you will always produce a far more professional finish. It's especially noticeable when sewing clothing! It truly does make a huge difference! If you iron the seams as you sew each of your squares, or a group of them at the same time but before you sew them together with other squares, then when you join them together again, press each of the seams 'open'. This will not only give you a better finish, but it will also make it easier each time you join more squares together. Your seams will 'sit', or 'fit' together better, giving you that professional finish. 🎉the I was taught at school to always iron all my seams, but it was never explained why! Had I understood why, and been shown the difference that it made, I'd have done it every time I sewed anything, including all of my needlework! I recently watched a RUclips video by 2 ladies who sew very professional 'Designer' ball gowns, and repair & help to preserve very old, and also precious antique clothing and other fashion items kept in museums, so they know the very BEST ways to restore, preserve and to 'finish' items. They explained the various steps they take when pressing these museum antique &/or designer gowns, suits, coats, etc. .... but I will just tell you the basic one, which is to Always Iron/press each time you sew one piece of fabric to another. When you sew one thread into a piece of fabric ... you are 'introducing' that thread into the threads in the fabric. Ironing basically just 'sets', or 'marries' your sewing thread into the threads of the fabric. Another one of their tips was to 'Press' on certain items, which is lifting the iron up and back down onto the fabric, instead of 'ironing' which is 'Pushing' the iron back & forth across the fabric. 'Pressing' would be better on embroidery, because it wouldn't be pushing the threads, especially the ribbons in your embroidery. However 'Ironing' would be more suitable for ironing your seams flat. They also used a 'clapper' which was a block of wood that was about 6 inches long & about 3 or 4 inches thick. It was used for pressing & 'setting' the sharp creases into fabric, such as pleats on skirts, or the creases on mens trousers, but theyalsoused it on wool coats, etc. The wood absorbs the moisture in from the steam of the iron. If you wanted to learn more about some of these fascinating things that are used by professional seamstresses &/or tailors, you could just Google 'clappers' for professional pressing. They would also be good for needlework such as petipoint or cross-stitch embroidery that you wanted framed. However I saw a tip that's probably all that we would ever need to use in the home. It was a flat, untreated wooden spatula. You can press the steam button onto the wood a couple of times and press & hold it firmly on the top of the pleat or crease that you wanted to set into your garment after you've pressed the pleat. However it's worth Googling exactly how to do it as I'm not sure that my description will translate very well. So, ironing &/or pressing threads into fabric, are like using glue to hold two pieces of china together without using something hold them firmly until the glue has dried. This really does give your sewing a much better appearance when it is finished. 😊 I hope that you do not mind me sharing what I have learned with you. I wish that I had known this many years ago because I always iron everything that I sew and I can see a huge difference in the finished appearance of everything I sew now! 😊
Thank you very much for your detailed comment. I'm really from Russia))). Maybe I didn’t show it in this video, but I also use an iron when sewing and iron all the seams after stitching. And also embroidery. Sometimes I get carried away, I want to quickly sew and forget to take some details on the camera. The translation turned out great, everything is clear.)))❤️❤️❤️

Остается пробовать вручную, сашико. У многих хорошо получается.
Странно, на мин 2:40 нитки хвостики срезал? Можно было ими в ручную выпить....
