Good question. I would keep it simple since that will help you feel more comfortable and natural when you speak. Sometimes, when students use difficult vocabulary, it makes them nervous and hurts their confidence. Only use sophisticated vocabulary if it sounds natural and you feel comfortable doing it.

Great question! It is better to try and speak for the full 60 seconds. This is because the total number of words said is part of your grade. If possible, try to collect your thoughts during the preparation time.
Congratulations and thank you for your kind words. It means A LOT. If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you say the same thing at this link - sotellus.com/r/tst-prep/? It will help people on Google learn about my site, TST Prep. Thanks again!
I got 7 in listening and 13 in reading 😢 Big mistake: trying to read the reading passage 2 times to make sure I understood the point, and writing on paper, trying to write what the speaker says while doing the listening part 😢😢

Which one I should choose?
To use natural vocabulary but simple.
Or
To use sophisticated vocabulary but less common and more formal

You said (that) I have to speak immediately after the "3, 2, 1", then, is it bad if I took two seconds of silence to better perform?
