Hi all, few things regarding this video: ruclips.net/video/0K3qQ234Kvc/видео.htmlfeature=shared The database has been updated since the filming of the video, with the first train on P12 being moved to the 31st December as a B set headed to Epping, the first train on P13 being moved to the 6th January as a B set ex-Hornsby, and the first train on P14 being moved to the 4th January as a Kiama service. Please note the above is subject to change as it is a very early stage still and it won't exactly be finalised until testing of the platforms commences.
I suspected so too - the platform extension works have been hindering this from happening asw, but now that they will be finished in a few days we can expect to see trains testing on them in 1 week +
I've been there many times but the upgrades to Central are always elsewhere so there's never any reason to go to the grand concourse (as I only ever catch suburbans for the most part). been 15 yrs
I just watched your video. Where ever you are getting your information from, It is incorrect. Platforms 13 & 14 will not open on the 27th December. They are programmed to open at 2am on the 31st December. South coast services will be using platforms 13&14 along with T9 services.
Its changed since 2 days ago when I last checked the database - please see community post for more info :) P12 suggests 31st December, P13 6th January & P14 4th January. --> tripconstruct.neocities.org/triplists/?stopid=2000334&date=any&tripid=C119.1932.100.128.H.4.84064632

And good job on your exams and congrats on feeling better!
but idk if thats true
*High speed rail from newcastle to sydney
They should build a small narrow platform between 8 and 9 and call it 9 and 3/4!
even better, why not just make platform 14 extremely narrow and then create a platform 15?
The tracks on 12-14 cannot be used yet. They still need to be tamped over the weekend before a single train can use it

As well as looking at the track laying, could you mention if the overhead wiring is in place
5:20 :)
The overhead canopies are up, all that remains is wiring (which is probably almost done by this point in time)
appr the high speed rail mock up cars is at Newcastle, can u pls film it?
First one to post a comment for this vid! And Im really excited to watch this vid! Good job!
Enjoy your time at Shanghai!
Escalators at 0:57 would have been nice.
I agree with this
I'm actually amazed you never filmed at Central Grand Concourse before to be honest. How long have you been in Sydney?
