Deerhoof - 2023-07-07 - Full Set at the 80/35 Festival in Des Moines, Iowa (4K)

This was my first time recording a concert with an iPhone so please forgive any camera mistakes. Also I learned that the iPhone 12 has a bug! Zooming in with the camera causes the audio to get muffled! But only sometimes.
Who knew? Not me! So as I zoom in, the sound quality changes.

Impressive sound from a phone. Normally the dynamics are completely flattened and saturated at this volume, but you still have some bass and treble. Great gig in Des Moines.

Oh my friend, I was standing right in front of those massive subwoofers. The dynamics were completely flattened and saturated in real life; I couldn't even hear the vocals most of the time let alone understand them. When I pulled this show up on my computer the next day I was SHOCKED there was any treble at all!
