It's not trying. It's playing. You guys are talented!
Totally wasn't expecting throat singing.
why ? germanic tribes throat sang. so did Scandinavians
I was hoping for it actually not disappointed
The Morin Khuur is so haunting and beautiful I am surprised more Western classical musicians are not performing and writing for it. The Hu Band may popularize the Morin even more.
Hi, i’d just like to say “Mor” means “horse”, “-in” means “ ‘s” and “khuur” means “fiddle” so if you want to use it in its short version, “khuur” would be better. Have a good day!
I guess Im pretty off topic but do anybody know a good website to stream new series online ?
@Brantley Trace i use FlixZone. You can find it on google :)
@Jason Yahir Definitely, I've been using FlixZone for years myself :)
it's easy to operate. I think.
So beautifully melancholic and nostalgic. Absolutely epic! Thank you!
This instrument has such a nice and distinct sound
Great job guys. Fantastic. You're Mongols now. Being a Mongol is about culture, not about where you were born.
briliant
holy, that throat singing!
This might sound weird but, I listen to this when going to sleep it helps me relax. You guys are awesome.👍😁👍
I do the same 🤗
This is awesome and I do it too
The first song is by Domog. I listen to that song all the time.
Edit: oh and the third. Not sure maybe the second is also. Sounds like it could be them.
I just bought my first morin khuur, you guys make me feel like I might just manage it

Congrats, guys! Anton, you are doing a great job - you and your friend. And you succeeded in many things: Mongolian, throat singing and Moriin Huur playing. God bless you both !

I can't believe this doesn't have more views. Honestly you two are amazing. I haven't played a bowed instrument before, usually didgeridoo, woodwinds, and various stringed instruments. How difficult is it to learn to use the bow properly?
Anton Vdk
Thanks you! If you have any suggestions on where to purchase a Morin Khuur that would be very helpful!
Anton Vdk

This is amazing Mongolian Morin khuur🐎
this music touches my heart a lot and makes my eyes more slanted. Respect from a Turk who is descent of Great Asian steppes...
VERY NICE WELL DONE
wow! It's Mongolian national musical instrument "Morin khuur" with 2 strings and horse head.I think only Mongolians can throat singing, but you guys so amazing!
urangoo oyun, Not only mongolian nations throat sing. Other steppe nomadic nations as kazakhs, yakuts, khakasses, altai people and some others do that also
I'm Turkish and I can do sygyt
It's a skill, not a specific inborn trait. You may as well claim only Americans and Europeans can pilot airplanes or use computers...
Actually there are a few other cultures that do also such as Inuit.
@@lorriemiller6750 cant forget the dead cultures like the germanic tribes of roman and post roman europe infact id go as far to say most nomadic animist tribes practiced some form of throat singing it only makes sense as throat singing originated as a ritualistic thing and quickly evolving to what it is today
woow awesome
top 5 banger of all time
Very cool

hey dudes please make some teaching video about throat singing :-)
This is insane
WOW . Awsome! How can you learn it.
Omfg!!!! I remembered hearing these of these songs that you guys mixed into a medley!!!! Some of them are actually in Manchurian tradition also!!!
I watch this video once every week or two and I cannot understand how to make such high notes with throat singing. I know its the resonance from the shape of the mouth, and I play khomus/vargan so its probably fairly similar in that regard. Do you have any tips for making the overtones louder?
Oh!!!! “Send me a rose”. A dzungar mongol song!!!! “Crying camel”
Amazing I like Ved this so much I recognize the guy with his hair up but who is he ?
goe bain
At 1:03 you can see how the right person is surprised about the throat singign 😂 awesome
Awesome playing, what's the second song called?
😍👏👏👏👍
question, i have a morin khuur at home for over a year now but havent practiced a lot simply because I dont know how to begin. i know the beginnings of pressing and that kind of Stuff And i can play a few songs but whats the most efficient way to become better?
What's the last song? And where did you get a Morin Khuur? Is it hard to play?
Awesome stuff! Really pretty and different.
I wonder, how did you learn to throat sing? On your own? With instruction?
Well that'd do it, that's fantastic! Thank you for the reply.
Been trying to figure out by myself, made some progress but obviously it's difficult. If you have any resources to share I'd love to check them out.
cheers.
What an amazing sound! What in the world inspired you guys to play the Mongolian Morin Khuur? Maybe it was that amazing sound :p
what song called at 4:36
