*Provincial/Territorial Caps: Caps vary by province and territory, with larger decreases in areas with rapid student population growth.
Exclusions: The cap excludes master's, doctoral, and primary/secondary education students.
*Study permit renewals are unaffected.
Attestation Requirement: From January 22, 2024, study permit applications must include an attestation letter from the relevant province or territory.
*Post-Graduation Work Permit Changes: Ineligibility for students in curriculum licensing programs starting September 2024; extended permit duration for master’s/short graduate program graduates.
*Spousal Work Permit Restrictions: Limited to spouses of master’s and doctoral students.
*Overall Goal: To support genuine students and alleviate pressures on Canadian services.

Government can any time change everything. You are promised education, not PR. Too many Indians and government doesn't want 1 million indians getting PR

if u apply on or after 22 Jan 2024 for visa this will affect u. and if ur going for diploma or 1 year course on september 2024 intake then u will need attestation letter and u will not have pgwp after studies
