Russia’s New Terminator Machines Spotted at Ukraine Border

- KYIV, UKRAINE - Russia’s new “Terminator” machines have been spotted near the Ukraine border.
The Drive reports that some of Russia’s brand new BMPT-72 armored fighting vehicles have been spotted near the Ukrainian border at the start of the Russian invasion.
Nicknamed the Terminator 2, the BMPT-72 is designed to support tanks, not carry troops. For this purpose it features four anti-tank missiles and two automatic cannons.
One of the cannons fires high-explosive rounds that have a wider kill zone, while the other fires armor-piercing rounds that can penetrate thin armor and walls.
The original model also featured two frontal grenade launchers, which can unleash a deadly storm of shrapnel against infantry at any range.
Most of the new models do not have such launchers, although some new models have been photographed with them.
The BMPT-72 is designed to protect heavy tanks in urban terrain.
Its fast-moving turret can lift its machine guns at high angles to hit targets high up in buildings.
The idea is that the BMPT-72 would suppress infantry targets like Javelin missile teams, while the tanks use their big guns to blow away walls and engage other tanks.
The number of BMPT-72s in the Russian arsenal is a tightly guarded secret, but some analysts think Russia currently only has around a dozen of them. This would explain why none have been spotted inside Ukraine, so far.
The war in Ukraine has been very costly for Russia, with a lot of Russian APCs and tanks having been destroyed, abandoned or left behind after getting stuck in thick mud.
On Thursday, March 24, a Russian landing ship blew up, damaging two other Russian vessels in the occupied Ukrainian port city of Berdyansk.
The Ukrainian military posted footage of the ship blowing up and said the ship had been hit by its forces.
Details of what caused the explosion and fire on board the ship are unclear.

Remote controlled Stugna is underrated.
So, I understand the benefit of a quickly turning turret. But, are they saying it is immune from weapons such as the Javelin, Stinger and Baykarat drone? Watch the Terminator as it crosses the border and destroy it as Ukraine has with other Russian equipment.
No, the purpose is to support heavy tanks by suppressing Javelin missile teams.
They likely don't have enough to make a difference, and the Ukrainians are gonna light them up with artillery every time a drone spots them, they will be main targets.

I wonder how many war crimes are they going to commit? I also wonder when the war is over if all the kidnapped Ukrainians (Russia took them amd sent them all across Russia) will come back to Ukraine.
most of the footage I've actually seen have been UA committing the war crimes. I hear every day about Russian war crimes but its never backed up with footage.

Not sure what landmass has anything to do with this, even if it did matter you do realize not all of it is being used, right?
While it might be true that some leaders are probably gonna be buying gas from Russia again I do doubt it will happen anytime soon and in the same quantity as Europe would try limit their reliance on Russian gas, they've already made a deal with the USA for gas
While it's not as much it would certainly affect the need of gas from russia
In the end of it the only thing Russia gains from this is distrust from a lot of countries who will probably be strengthening their military while also seeing the russian army as a joke based on what we've seen

@@drsm7947 And if you read about their actual operation and history you will find out they haven't been made since 2007 and never was as effective as promised on unarmored vehicles and they flat out do not work on any sort of modern armored vehicles, However what they are extremely good at is scattering the battlefield with unexploded ordnance which is excellent at killing civilians and bystanders, There is a reason while they shipped them out to iraq we chose to deploy more effective weapons instead.
