Does anyone know what the band name is meant to mean, Im from Denmark, and as far as I´m aware the letter Ø in this form isn´t found in the Finnish Alphabet, and the band name translated from Dannish makes no sense, it littterally translates as "The Die"... Need some help here, thanks!
The name of the band most likely originates from the musical note Do. One can notice that the letter d in their logo looks literally like a note. On the other hand, the dø sounds exactly as the French "deux" (= "two"), which is just a theory, but considering how much the duet of Dan & Olivia means for their music... it seems that this theory might true as well. The fact that the dø in Danish means "to die" could be just a coincidence.

This third album is so good, and quite different than their previous albums, really looking forward to seeing them live when they come to the US.
