Local contestant, Miss ‘Eua Masani, Sitita Hamilton Va’enuku was crowned Miss Heilala 2023 at the Miss Heilala Ball at the Sir Sofele Hall in ‘Apifo’ou, Ma’ufanga.
Voted Miss Popularity by her fellow contestants, she is the first local contestant to win the pageant after many years of overseas contestants taking the crown.

The most physically attractive and classically beautiful never win these things anymore, it’s always about personality. Sigh. Since their main function is to appear in tourism advertising, their physical appearances should carry more weight, but I guess that’s just how the cookie crumbles these days.

'physically attractive' and 'classically beautiful' are all subjective. An outgoing personality is more sustainable and who says she cant have it all.
